| Let's see. I was born in New Britain, Ct in 1972. Kensington is where I called home for most of my childhood. In 9th Grade, we moved to NH. From there I went to Nova Scotia to live with my grandparents and attend High School. Upon graduating from Digby Regional High School in 1990, I joined the U.S. Navy. I got married, divorced, and married again. I also started going to college. But at the time, my heart wasn't really in to education. Somewhere in there I was a calibration technician, working on gear used to maintain F-18's. I slightly recall having to stand watches and inspections, too. I got out of the Navy in 1995. Upon moving to Washington, I was a nanny for over a year and then started a home daycare during the day, while attending classes at night. In 1999, I completed my AA and in 2001, I received a BA in Psychology with a minor in History. Honors of course :-) Now I am still married to Mike (10 years in Feb 2004). I substitute teach in North Chicago. And, I am waiting to go back to school to work on a Masters. |
