I have always been fascinated by
Santa Claus and I have
collected quite a few of them.
They decorate my house every
Christmas Season.

This Santa was painted
by Thomas Nast.

The last few years my son Pat
and his wife Patti with the help of my other
three sons Jim, Mike and Scott go to a
local tree farm and cut my
"Hershey Christmas
Tree"
to be placed in my livingroom.

I decorate my tree with a vast
collection of Santas. On top of my tree I
place dresden Santas from Germany.

Intersped with several old fashioned
Christmas bulbs are my Kreb Santas.
Many of these depict scenes from
the Victorian era. They are dated
from 1898 to 1912.

Besides decorating the tree
with Santas I have several
of them around the room
on the floor, tables and shelves.
These Santas are dressed in
long robes and in the
Coca Cola
traditional
red suit.

There are many great pages
on the net. One of them is a story
of Santa by Bryan Griffin.
