Welcome To Our Gardens

While Meowmie is furry busy working in her gardens
we three cats, McGee, Shirley and Sophie made our own
gardens. We three are members of CLAW which is having
a Summer Fair in July. McGee is a co-leader of OCS and we
two girls are helping him create our own flower gardens
for the CLAW fair as we are the co-leaders of the Flower Society
in the TCMC, a sister club of CLAW. Please come into our gardens
through the garden gate to enjoy our flower garden tour.

Here are our blackeye susan and purpleconeflowers.
They attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
Meowmie has these in her miniature rose garden
and her "fairy ring".

We just love these flowers too.
Purple and yellow look so nice together.
These are delphiniums and coreopsis.

Dianthus and Gaillardia look nice together in the front
of our borders. Hummingbirds really like these.

Butterflies enjoy their Butterfly bush and Shasta daisies.
We two girls make sure that we have plenty of plants
for our "flying flowers". This butterfly cannot make up
it's mind which plant is better to feed on.

Oh! Look at the hummingbird at the hollyhock!
It is attracted to it's bright red blooms.

Are you getting tired from this stroll? Here is a table and chairs
to sit and rest. Iced catmint tea has been poured for you. You can admire our
lovely fountain as you sip your tea.

Refreshed? Let's finish our tour. We like aquilegia. Meowmie has some planted
in her shade gardens. We also like the cardinal flower. It is red like the bird
who is our grandmeowmie's favorite. Hummingbirds like the cardinal flower.
Whoops! Speaking of birds, is that a bluebird flying over the flowers?

Flower Barrel Birdbath

Foxgloves and coral bells are also furry pretty in the gardens. Meowmie
has several of these in her shade gardens.

We have two types of lavender in our garden. One is garden lavender and the other is sea lavender. You can make nice sachets from both
for your cat mats that you lay on for your naptimes. Hmm, lavender
smells so pretty.

The cardinals are enjoying drinking from the birdbath.
It is so nice to have these beauties in our gardens.

Here are yarrow and sedum. Yarrow is in Meowmie's gardens too.
Meowmie has sedum planted in front of one of her rosebushes.
It looks nice all summer when it is green but this pink is
the color of sedum that we like the best.

Last but not least, what cottage flower garden would be complete
without garden roses. They smell so elegant.

Well, the tour is over and we three cats have enjoyed your visit to our gardens.
Please plan to visit again! We will have catmint tea ready for you.
If you like flowers,my two sisters, Shirley and Sophie would be
honored if you visited their TCMC Flower Society which was once
a guild in the old CLAW. Sammy Brewer is our graphic artist.
