Welcome

This is about three sisters before they grew up.

Here I am with my two beloved sisters shortly after I
graduated from high school in 1956. The event was
Children's Day at our local church in Reading, MA.

We three sisters, Rita, Brenda and Nancy remind our Mom Viola
about three other sisters- the Gray sisters of Roxbury, Florence,
Edith and Edna. She can see the family resemblance.

I can recall when my two sisters were born. I enjoyed being
their big sister. Mom usually made us Easter dresses of the
same pattern and material. In the first picture of us above,
we had stopped dressing alike. I was eighteen, Rita was thirteen
and Brenda had just turned eleven years.

We were three of six children. The other three children were
Fred, Al and Harry. We can all be seen on my Mom Loves Angels pagehttp://www.oocities.org/frnank/MomLovesAngels/index.htm.

Here is Brenda with her uncle Al. She was six months old.
Al had just been discharged from the service. He was an army medic.
Another uncle Ralph was discharged too. He was an army cook.

Here is Rita in the winter of 1945 when Brenda was 6 months old.
She is wearing a pretty pink snow suit.

Here I am that same day in the winter of 1945.
We are standing at our grandparents back door.

A picture of Rita and Brenda in the winter of 1946.
My brother Fred and I missed having our picture taken because
we were at Sunday School. Notice the old high chair in the background.

Here is Rita and Brenda with their younger brother Al.

Brenda, Easter of 1956. She is sitting on Barber's wall. This house is no longer standing.

Easter 1957. Barber's house is in the background.

The three sisters, Rita, Brenda and Nancy hope that you enjoyed your visit to our past when we were young girls.

Here we are as adults with our beloved MOM.
