Honda N360
Back at the end of 2001 we bought a wee green Honda N360, in very good condition it was to. We were lucky enough when we got this one to get another for nothing and this is maybe a future restoration project, or a parts and bits car. getting both cars for NZ$600.00 was a great deal. The Green 360 is a every day runner and very economical on it to. Averaging about 44 mpg on about town driving. having done almost 100,000 miles and little done to the car, that cannot be to bad.
I have had some rust repaired in the drivers door when I got it. Brakes have been bled and adjusted, and rings and pistons have been replaced after one got a hole in it and the rings broke @ 97265 miles. And just recently the fan housing bearing seized so replaced with e spare housing.
The Body requires a few small imperfections to be worked on, like scratches and dents, Other wise she is in good nick as I have said.
Since Buying the car, I have kept a record of fuel economy to track the vehicles performance. It was interesting to see the changes in economy leading up to the blown piston and valve.
The following work has been done on the vehicle to keep
it road worthy
The car has now done in excess of 101968
miles, and is still running strong.

On the Summit Road of Banks Peninsula, A nice Hill drive, certainly a slow drive with 360 cc under the bonnet. But who is really in a hurry?? |

Looking down into Christchurch, A sea haze blocks much of the view. Vanessa, my wife, who was 7 months pregnant, taking in the view. |

Vanessa - still pregnant - enjoying the view toward Godley Head, on the Southern side of Lytleton Harbor out from Diamond Harbor. This drive was beautiful, a summers day, windows down cruzin the shingle roads to almost nowhere. |
