Tighten Up Your Panties Because We're Going Supersonic

Mark talking

I'm sitting in Whitney 3, listening to Mark rant while Matt plays some crazy french video game. It's comic style. It's called XIII. Yeah, the subject of this post comes from it.

So, going home tomorrow. I keep getting tempted to fill up my luggage, but I keep remembering that I'm going to the Saturday market. Rawr. I bought flowers for Nathaniel's family today, and I also bought my mother's birthday present. I'm sure she'll like it. I almost bought her Naughty Sex for Good Girls, but I settled on the History of Christianity. It was either that or a book on impressionism, but I didn't know if she had one already.

My computer's been down since Thursday. Matt just pretended to eat my mouse. Now he's playing with it. I just unlugged the USB so he can't. Haha. And Rich says "since you're blogging, you should say your mom is having sex with 7 people right now." Right.

So...I'm going to go lvl or chat on AIM or something.

Grrr

"Drowning" by Crazy Town

Yeah, I made an angry playlist yesterday. Good times.

So, I'm in this group called Narrative/Action. We welcome a supposedly kick-ass lesbian slam-poet named Alix Olsen. She's speaking tomorrow night, so in preperation for her, today is a kinda random poetry day. Every hour, some place on the campus, we're supposed to get a group of people to recite poetry. Mine was at 1 behind MI by the bell. I didn't have a chance to gather a group of people, so it was just me >> Mike was supposed to be there, but he wasn't. Hehe. There were 3 smokers just hanging out. So I read my poem to one of them. His name was John. He was pretty cool.

Classes are alright. It's been pretty rainy lately. I'm procrastinating on revising the final draft of a paper. Meh, it's due at 7 pm.

Tomorrow I'm getting two red streaks in my hair near my bangs + a PERM! Yeah, I'm crazy. It won't be a curly, curly perm. Just enough. Meh, we'll see.

The Theatre of Confusion dinner Sunday night was pretty crazy. We earned our money back and made a profit of about $20. Hahaha. We still have extra ingredients left. Rawr.

...I'm gonna go clean my room and take a nap.

My Weekend So Far
Sunday, November 13, 10:14 am
my laptop breathing

Oh man, it's crazy windy out. I always leave my window partially open, so my door keeps on moving back and forth even though it's closed, making this hollow sound repeatedly. My dry skin is cracking out. Augh. So I have to start tanning, which is almost the equivalent of UV therapy. Almost.

Friday night - Got off work at 7. Mike (BAS), Will, and Nathaniel came and got me at the Java Joint. There was rum. Nathaniel and I had 4 shots each. I don't know how many Will had. Nathaniel and I started making out, then fell asleep. Will was at the computer the whole time, then he left. When we woke up, Will had fallen asleep on my floor. Apparently, his roommate brought a few friends over, and it was too loud for Will to sleep there. So he brought pillows to my dorm and slept.

Saturday night - Went shopping with Matt, Mike and Dan for the Theatre of Confusion dinner. Consequently, we missed dinner at Commons. So did Nathaniel because he slept until 5:40 and dinner ended at 6. So Nathaniel and I ordered pizza. Good stuff. Then Will came over with Sarah and we busted out the rum. Then Tim, Nate, Jimmy, and some kid whose name I forgot came over and brought some beer and CoCa Cola. After the rum was gone (I had 3 shots and Nathaniel had 2.75, I don't know who else had what) they left and it was just Will, Nathaniel, Sarah and me again. Then we all dogpiled on my bed for awhile. Then Sarah left with Will and I fell asleep.

So yes, there is 1 empty bottle of rum, 1 empty bottle of vodka, 2 empty beer bottles, and 6 cans of soda (all partially empty in some way) in my room. Shyeah.

At Work Again

"Shimmer" by Fuel

I got about 4 hours of sleep last night because I was working on my chemistry lab report. Then while I was in chemistry, I worked on my spanish paper that was due at noon. So I worked on that until Spanish, but when I emailed it to myself to print out at the library, it didn't turn up in my email. Uncool. So then I had to go back to my dorm after class and email it to my teacher. That was at 1. At 2 pm I had to take a shift for a co-worker who couldn't make it to her shift from 2-4:30. So now I'm working 7 hours. Augh.

One of the difficult things about a small college is seeing your ex...a lot. And seeing them flirt and whatnot. I know I broke up with him, but it's still all "argh".

Just finished Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick. I liked it. We watched the movie adaption Blade Runner in my Apocalypse Now class. Good times. Also finished Kite Runner for entertainment. It was very good, though quite sad. Now I'm reading A Clockwork Orange for class. I think we're watching the movie on Monday.

Saw a play, Tartuffe, with my FYI class last night for bonding experienceness. Yeah, SMA definitely made me a play elitest. There were a few actors who were pretty good, but some of the acting made me wince and twitch.

I still don't have wireless in this building because I forgot to register my wireless card with ISR until a few hours ago. My bad. I've been having hardcore RO withdrawl.

So I talked to my mom a bit about Thanksgiving break. I arrive Thursday, reserve FRIDAY for her and can hang out all day with posse on Saturday. On Sunday I leave. Rawr.

DAmnit, I have a fricking essay due on Monday. Sucks. Hard.

Oh Magical Trevor

"Alcohol" by the Barenaked Ladies

Mike IMed me this link of a Magical Trevor plushie. I started drooling and my hands got all wet. It was kinda funny. It's now tiled as my desktop wallpaper.

I have a $24 fine in the Beloit Public Library. Hahahahaha. Ha. Damn.

I had more to say earlier, but I don't remember anymore. I was watching Vampire Princess Miyu with Nathaniel, but it froze in one of the episodes so we stopped watching. Rawr. I feel like I'm watching Sailor Moon, but not.

I got a package in the mail from mi mama. It had a packet of White Rabbit candy, a bra strap, allergy meds, and a phone cord. Good times. Didn't have classes today because it was International Symposium Day. Wahoo. Listened to a few from Japan because I woke up late. Yay for sleeping in.

What?

"Hey Jealousy" by Gin Blossoms

Saturday night, I went party hopping with a co-worker of mine named David. It was nothing like that, we both have boy/girlfriends, but it was a nice bonding experience. First, we went to the C-haus and listened to the Dethols. They were alright. They sounded kinda like Queens of the Stone Age. Then we went the a party at the French House, but barely anyone was there and the music kinda sucked. The place that was really hopping was TKE and the Womyn's Center party at the TKE house. The theme was "Ladies' Night" so guys had to come dressed as chicks. Some of them looked pretty good, too. Haha. They played funk music. We thought the C-Haus was the better of the three. Afterwards, we went to his dorm and drank and talked a bit. Man, I'm such a lightweight. And I drank to fast. 4 shots of ciclone. So then I went back to my dorm and slept.

Sunday, I had a hangover. It wasn't as bad as it could've been. Then went to a friend's surprise birthday party and ate pretzels and spaghetti. We also played spoons. After that, met with the music committee for a party that Theatre of Confusion is holding at the Womyn's Center. It's called Tarts & Vicars and people dress up as prostitutes &/or clergy. So, we made up a playlist. This song happens to be on it.

I've been ace-ing quizzes and homework in Chemistry lately. I think if I keep up with that, I can pull a B+ by the end of the semester. I'm struggling in Spanish though, which feels kinda surprising. I think it's because I'm too lazy to look at grammar. Augh. I have two papers due this Friday, but I've started one already. Wahoo.

Returned DVDs of Read or Die the the public library. Watched the series through episode 16. Now I have a $16 late fee. Haha. It was $1 per day, per DVD. Good times.

I think I'll clean my room again, then bust out some homework.

Oh, I'm coming home for Thanksgiving.

What?

"Faith" by George Michael

So, I still haven't uploaded this layout. I find this funny. I slept a lot. I woke up around 10:30 am, read the first two X/1999 manga. Then went to brunch and then got an allergic reaction to some butter (because it was next to the peanut butter?, ) so I took benadryl and slept. I missed a JavaJoint meeting. Whoops. So I called my manager and he seemed pretty okay with it.

Then worked on a chem paper with my partner. Good times. I tried to eat that gingerbread house, but the icing is kinda hard so it's not that easy to break apart. I ate a tombstone. Wahoo.

I Never Got To Type Up My Essay

Nathaniel turning pages

So this morning, er, yestermorning, I woke up at 7 am and volunteered at the farmer's market. They had a mini-parade going on with the little kids and each family got to paint a pumpkin. In the bookstore, there was storytelling. I helped man the pumpkin tables. I bought 2 home-made cinnamon roles for 85 cents each and DAMN were they good. Too bad it was the last farmer's market for the rest of the year T.T Anyhow, hung out with people from the 609 dorm who were also volunteering. Chatted a bit with the pre-med advisor. In truth, she's a bit intimidating, but she suggested I take microbiology next semester x.X ToC Mike stopped by, and I was so happy to see him I gave him a big hug =) In the end, I got to paint my own pumpkin. It's a cat and even has four paws and a tail. It's pretty cute. I don't think I mentioned the gift my parents sent me last week: a Halloween gingerbread house. David, a co-worker, said "what? orgasm in your mouth?" Yeah, someone pointed out that the fall/winter holidays were melding together. Next it'll be a gingerbread Christmas turkey.

Watched Hellsing episodes 3-8. I actually enjoy it quite a bit. Spent a lot of time with Nathaniel. We went to the haunted house (basement of Bushnell/Blaisedell) that the RAs put together. It was kinda funny and wasn't scary except this ONE PART that made all of us scream. We walked into a room with a squirrel (there's a giant squirrel costume that BelCon has) and a girl watching tv (static that said "beware") and then as I was walking out the door I heard this "VROOOOOOOOM" and it was a chainsaw. We ran halfway down the hall. Good times.

Hanging Out at Work, Yo.

"In My Place" by Coldplay

Finally got a layout up. Yay. More blog updating for Jade. Chris sent me one of Aya from Ayashi no Ceres, but I couldn't open it >< So I made a quick and dirty one of the little dude from Katamari Damacy.

Things have been pretty crazy. Broke up with Austen and am with Nathaniel. Good times. I've been pretty burned out with work. Shyeah, sucks. Actually, I almost pulled an all nighter last night with my spanish presentation. It took longer than I thought. I finished around 6 am and was late to chem class because I woke up at 8:13. My spanish teacher and peers were pretty impressed by my presentation on Archbishop Romero. It was kind of weird because it was the standard SMA presentation with the Power Point and all. Oh well. That y me encanta el arzobispo Romero. Y tuve la chansa para hablar sobre que la escuela de las americas. Es interesante porque muchas de las estudiantes no saben informacion sobre que la escuela. I got to plug the Peace & Justice House protest for it, which was pretty spiff. I hope I can make it. I have to email whoever is heading the project because I've wanted to go since Junior year. By the way, my SMA homies, is there still a group going to SOA?

I went to my first anime convention and blasted $230 bucks on tickets, food, stuffs, etc. $30 alone on Japanese snacks. My friend Mike and I bought a 24 case of Bawls for $40. Yeah. Bawls is an energy drink. We both had 4 or 5 the first night. The convention itself sucked, but I had fun because I enjoyed the company I was with. Met people and am staying in touch with 2. Also met some people from the RO Iris server whose guildmates I had lvled with. It was pretty spiff. They were very tall x.X So, the convention (The Reactor) sucked because they 1) didn't list the anime they were showing with certain times, 2) played bad dance music at the dance, 3) grah, just other things. But it was dandy. I also bought a hoodie that said "I can't dance without arrows" with DDR arrows on it. Bought a FFX-2 Yuna poster (the one I've been looking for all my life even though I hate Yuna) to replace the Asuka one I have. Good times.

On Wednesday I checked out a bunch of anime from the library because I thought I would be staying indoors for the weekend because of assassins. But this morning, I got assassinated at 8:40 am right after my chemistry class. The girl put her arm around me and said "I'm sorry, Jade" then shot my thigh with a squirt of her squirt gun. Psh.

OMGWAR I'M COMING HOME FOR THANKSGIVING! Ha, for 4 days. I'll be so fricking busy. Speaking of busy, I have a rough draft I need to type up and email.

I got a 74 on my spanish midterm. Yeahno. Well, my internet isn't working because I haven't established my wireless connection with the college yet. Meh. So I'm gonna type up that essay.

OMGWAR I'M TAKING HEIROGLYPHICS NEXT SEMESTER! I'm so hyped.
