See And Say Instruction Book |
|
|
|
Developed originally for use with Down's
syndrome children the See and say book method will show teachers and parents
of children with speech and language delay how to give visual clues to their
children so as to encourage them to communicate. Starting with very simple
ideas and objects the method aims gradually to expand their vocabulary. The
books were first devised by Pat Le Prevost of the Slade hospital Oxford in
England and published in 1990. They have already reached a wide audience and
have proved very successful.
