DIY Filter
This DIY filter has a few weakspot,although it can elimate by making some adjustment but i still haven't start to do it now!!
1.Since the motor is an underwater,it may make the water temperature rise one degree or less depends on how big is your tank.
2.When filter material change need,air inside cannot be totally carry out from the filter inside,which is a lost of space and the filter may not work since the motor needs to submerged into the water to carry out it's task.
To over come the second problem,a hole is needed to drill on the top of the filter and install a water flow controller.
