"Oh...hi," said Biff ungracefully, couldn't get his eyes off Eugene.
"Um..." said Biff. "Well...just thought I'd say something... By
the way, I'm the new Shamrock Entrance Dog."
"I hope
you would act like a dog at school, then," said Eugene. "See you at
school later, dog."
"Bye
then," said Biff. "You know, you are Eugene Ngai. You know that,
right?" and Biff went away.
"Go
away!" said Eugene. "Why did all the people say that to me today?
Well, except Lorraine, Sammy, Mrs. Siu, Henry, Mark, and Harry."
After two
hours, Panda Express has finally arrived St Louis. Eugene, Henry, Sammy, Mark,
Harry, Lorraine, George, and Clint jumped down the train. A Grubbly-Plank woman
was standing in front of the train. Eugene recognized this stout woman. She's
Umbrella On. Bridge.
"First
years here!" said Umbrella impatiently. "Faster! Come one, little
first years! I can't wait any longer!"
"It's
only been thirty seconds, what is she talking about? Can't wait any
longer?!" whispered Henry madly.
Soon they
were inside the cafeteria in St Louis. All the teachers were waiting inside
already, including Professor Silva, Professor Cheng, and Father Lam. Then a long
line of frightened looking first years entered, led by Professor Ho, who was
carrying the Seattle Mariners baseball hat.
The whole
school waited with bated breath. Then suddenly there was a sound coming from a
cassette player next to Father Lam. It burst into a song which no one in the
cafeteria could tolerate:
"Shaolin
Kung-Fu Very Good
Ve-ry
Good
Shaolin
Kung-Fu Super
Su-per
I'm
Golden Leg
Gol-den
Leg
I'm
Metal Head
Wa-Wa-Wa!"
A sound like dancing was coming out of the cassette, and a sound like fighting
and quarreling was also coming off the cassette. Sounded like one of the singers
was arguing instead of singing now.
"That guy is Metal Head! Not me!" bawling sound came out of the
cassette. "Bah! Bah!"
"Are you stupid or something? I told you I'm not Metal Head!" crying
sound kept coming off the cassette. "That guy is Metal Head! Can you speak
English?!"
Then the other singer shouted with even more thunderous voice, now the whole
school could hear the cassette.
"That guy is Golden Leg!" screamed the other singer.
After that, the cassette stopped. Finally, Father Lam talked as the whole school
listened.
"Oh, sorry, wrong cassette," said Father Lam. "I should have
known." Then he stood up and changed the cassette. Another song burst out
of the cassette player.
In
times of old when I
was new
And
there were five good friends
Decided
to build and teach
And
never did they dream that there
Might
someday be divided
For
were there such friends anywhere
As
Shamrock and Rose?
Unless
they were the invulnerable
Of
Tulip, Lily, and Thistle?
How
could such friendships fail?
I
was there and so can tell
The
whole, happy, blithe tale
The
song continues on the next page!!!!
