Mini Job Fair in Hong Kong East Job Centre Of Labour Department
Purpose
- To publicize the recruitment need of participating company and arrange face-to-face interviews for the company and job-seekers during the event.
Promotion and Publicity
Before the event
- Labour Department will promote the recruitment event via their website, 10 job centres and sending out invitation letters to prospective job registrants.
- Participating company is encouraged to publicize the event in newspaper and/ or other channels as appropriate.
During the event
- Labour Department will post up details of the vacancies in the venue.
- Participating company may erect posters or floor-stand banners in the venue to promote the company and the vacancies.
The event day
Address
- 34/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Hong Kong (Wanchai MTR A5 exit)
Venue
- A hall of about 1000 square feet dedicated for the event.
Time
- Usually from 10am to 5:30 pm.
- Participating company should arrive before 9:30am of preparation and familiarization.
Interviews
- Interview booths will be set up by movable partitions. A maximum of 8 booths can be set up.
- Labour Department will provide logistic support, control the crowd and arrange job seekers to fill in application forms and attend interviews orderly, etc.
- Participating company will send human resource personnel to conduct interviews on the spot.
- Different modes of operation such as per-booking of interview appointments, accepting walk-in applicants, accepting resume beforehand, etc can be flexibly arranged, depending on the needs of the company. All of these will be per-agreed.
- Staff of Labour Department will provide consultancy services on promotion and recruitment strategy consideration of company nature and vacancy type.
- After the event, participating company is required to provide feedback to Labour Department on the information of the job seekers employed.
