Copper(銅)

Copper is the second most-used metal in the world and is valued for its conductivity(導電率),

malleability(展延性), resistance to corrosion, and beauty.

Copper is used extensively(廣泛地) in electrical components because of its high conductivity.

Copper was known to prehistoric(史前) people and was probably the first metal from which useful articles were made.

The advantage of copper:

 1. It has a good conductivity of electricity and heat. its resistance to corrosion.

2.its malleability(展延性) and ductility(柔軟性), and its beauty, copper has long been used in a wide variety(多樣的) of applications.

3.Copper is a cheap metal.

The disadvantage of copper:

It is true that copper attracts heat at a faster rate than aluminum. Copper's disadvantage is

that it retains the heat for longer periods of time. The reason that some companies use copper

tubes is because it is easier than aluminum to work with during the soldering process.

The use of copper:

because of copper's extremely high conductivity, and copper is very ductile, so it can be drawn into wires.
