Book chosen: Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets

Book Review 2

      `Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets´ is the second

chapter of the Harry Potter series. Harry went back to Hogwarts

School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to upgrade his wizardry and

was able to meet his old classmates too. Dobby, a poor servant

of a bad wizard, knew something about the chamber of secrets

and warned Harry not to go back to the school, or in case he

would be in big trouble! After the arrival of Harry, several 

students were froze one by one by an unknown power. Harry

should take the important task to find out the chamber of secrets

so that the school wouldn't be destroyed. Of course, he was able

to succeed in protecting the school and destroying the black

power. He helped Dobby escape from his bad wizard too!

      Harry is a typical hero in the story. It is predictable that the

right side will always be successful finally. But I really enjoy

reading the unpredictable process of how he fully makes use of

the wizardry learned to get rid of the black power. Besides, the

reason why the book is so famous among the youngsters is that

everything is possible in the story. Children always like to

imagine things that are impossible. I would also put a towel

on my back, imagining I was a superman when I was young!

Reading is a kind of entertainment and can also leave space

for readers to imagine. Adults can relax and balance their

workload in their daily lives through reading stories like this

one. Reading how Harry succeeds, I am also encouraged to

work hard for my future!!!
