By 1947, the Greek government was collapsing. United
Statues set up Truman Doctrine which provided military and economic aid to nations
threatened by intervention from other countries. Marshall Plan had been worked
out to improve Europeˇ¦s economy, because Europeans with jobs and a good life
would not support Communism, so this plan worked out.
