Implication of our name :

Coact, 同行 , means taking action together. As our cabinet is very unite and has the same belief to serve the needy, so we choose this word as our cabinet's name. We hope our members, HKUST students, and even the public can do and promote social service with us.

Our Orientation :

One has limited power, but unlimited when many. Same case can be applied for doing social service. We hope our members, HKUST students, and even the public can act together to promote and do social service in an active, happy and harmonic way.

Our first step to realize our belief is to co-act with our members. To do so, we improve members' linkage by providing more chances for them to play, to share, and to do service. More specifically, we will phone to our members at least once a month to exchange information. Then, a sense of belonging towards our society can be established.

To foster HKUST students to concern about the society, we will have better promotion within the campus. We hope all the students in HKUST can receive our messages, and at the same time, they can express their words to us.

A successful social service needs time; we do not want to serve the needy just for a moment. After serving the people in need, we will continue our belief by having follow-up activities, such as sending celebrating cards and photos so that our clients can receive our warmth and love continuously.

We hope all members can follow our pace and serve the needy without any reward.
