Maintenance
procedure :
Every-day
work:
1.
Use pura-caff (espresso machine cleaner) and a clean towel to cleanse the
body.
2.
Mix 8 tea spoon of pur-caff with 2000 ml of hot water in a steel
container.
3.
Use the hot mixture to rinse the pouring filter for 3-4 times.
4.
Use an angled brush dipped with the hot mixture to wash the pouring
filter.
5.
Rinse the steam warmer with the mixture.
6.
Remove and wash the portafilter handle.
7.
Rinse the drip tray.
8.
Switch off the espresso machine.
Every-week
work:
1.
Use pura-caff to wash the pouring filter.
2.
Remove and clean the head of the steam warmer.
3.
Turn on the steam warmer to remove remaining water vapor and milk.
4.
Re-install and clean the head of the steam warmer.
Opening
procedure:
1.
Press the button at the bottom left corner of the machine to switvh on
the machine.
2.
Wait about 30 minutes to allow the machine to warm up and produce
sufficient steam.
3.
Turn on the steam warmer for a few seconds after 10-20 minutes,
4.
Warm up process ends until the indicator shows 1-1.2 bar of pressure.
5.
Unlock the portafilter handle. Run 50ml of hot water of each pouring
filter 3-4 times.
6.
Lock the portafilter handle in appropriate resting position. And put
sufficient cups on the upper deck of the machine to ensure every cup is warm.
7.
Make a cup of double espresso to check the quality.

Items
to be reminded:
l
Make sure the coffee filter connects, but not tightly locked, to the
pouring filter during brewing in order to protect its lifespan and its
temperature stability.
l
Flush sufficient freshly grounded coffee powder into the coffee filter.
(Single shot:8g; double shot:16g)
l
Turn on the steam warmer before and after every operation to remove
remaining water vapor and milk.
l
Rinse the coffee filter and the pouring filter after every operation to
remove any residue. (After rush hours, it is advised to remove the coffee filter
cup and cleanse the inner surface of the filter. Re-install the filter cup
immediately to the portafilter handle.

Important
things:
l
Develop a habit of regular cleaning. Otherwise, residue or coffee grease
will become difficult to remove.
l
For the sake of effective and efficient operation, coffee beans in the
coffee bean container should be stored no more than half of the container.
(Almost 2 hours consumption)
l
To maintain the freshness and the best taste of the coffee, coffee beans
should be grounded just before each brewing.
l
Once the container bag is torn, coffee beans should be stored no more
than 7 days.
l
After grinding, coffee powder can only be stored within 15 minutes.
l
After the shop is closed, coffee beans can be transferred back to the
container bag. Seal the bag immediately.
l
Cleanse the coffee bean container with hot water twice a week.
l
After the shop is closed, remaining coffee powder should be abandoned.
