Movie trip

This year, approximately 40 senior students had the opportunity to attend Chinese University to view English movies.  Our students saw "Matilda" and "Billy Elliott" and thirsted for more.  They learned about American and British culture, learned lots of new words, and laughed out loud because of the great scripts.  Our students repeatedly asked, "When can we go again?"  Maybe next year, we'll be able to show some movies with English subtitles at our school too.  Let's keep our fingers crossed.

The speaker gave the students a brief summary of the movies so that

everyone would have a clear understanding of what was happening

throughout the film.  Having notes to refer to were very helpful.

The students paid close attention while the speaker was speaking so

that they would be able to follow the movie.  Being attentive is very

 important, don't you think?

What's all the commotion about?  That's easy.  The students are talking

about the film.  They're discussing their views and having a good time.

Wow!  Look at these pretty girls!  They went to the movies, learned

a few things, and had a blast!
