Background

Ponnie belongs to the Chiyaka race, which had a close bond with the Breaker family—they had the same ancestor. However, one Chiyakan fell in love with an earth human. She morphed to a human and married him, starting the Breaker family. Though the two families looked physically different, there was a close bond between them. They were mutual protectors of each other. Chiyaka is a peaceful race who used to live in the swamps. However, the PN Centre wanted to exploit the natural resources there for a project. The Chiyaka race was completely eliminated—Ponnie was the sole survivor. She was told that if she found the descendants of the Breaker family, she would be safe—that was why she must find Yisa. She is a high-spirited, vivid, and naturally optimistic girl. She shows great affection for her team—only she lacks the language of communication.

So, Ponnie is the only survivor of her alien race and all she knows is to find Yisa and she can escape the elimination imposed by the BOSS of the PN Center.
