'Korean songs have their unique style and feeling. Their love songs just like the story in the TV drama, extremely sweet & extremely bitter. Agree with one of the comment writers, who says you should not miss this album no matter you are a fan of love song or Korean TV drama. The romantic of Korean is something you have to taste slowly. This album seems suitable for Winnie. Though all songs are cover-versions, we can feel the seriousness of producing this album. |

香港壹周刊2001年12月6日「音樂堂」碟評
韓流襲港，韓國改編歌大舉入侵樂壇，造就了各大唱片公司大量的揀歌選擇。台灣情歌天后辛曉琪今次這張新碟，全碟十二首歌統統由幾齣韓劇的主題曲改編而成，齣齣韓劇都hit到爆，計有「藍色生死戀」、「愛上女主播」、「情定大飯店」等在台灣大熱的韓劇。韓劇旋律＋台式歌詞，來一次台韓合併，問題是旋律夠動人，但一口氣聽下「永遠」、「童話」、「邂逅」就不禁要停一停。全數是韓劇主題曲改編歌這個確是好賣點，奈何聽得多自然覺悶。

Winnie still insists to release one album each year. Her last album 'Why' appeared at the end of the year. So does this album! However, this album is a breakthrough as all songs are Made in Korea. Lyrics are written according to the story, and the arrangement is appropriate with traditional instruments like piano, guitar etc. If you want Hip Hop and R & B, sorry, Winnie doesn't make those music.
The style of 'Forever' is what Winnie can show her talent. For the pop folk song 'You Can't Say', she sings comfortably though she doesn't sing English songs often. Her singing performance doesn't inferior than Mariah Carey's.
'Firework' is a special song that Korean male singer sings a part of Korean in the song. 'When We Met' is re-produced as a poem. The very first track 'Reason' is played by Winnie. The rhythm and the power of playing is satisfactory. The last one 'Two Different Lovers' is a song without lyrics. The two songs can link the whole album together.
Such album will sure draw the attention of many music comment writers. For the general audiences, they will also have the curiosity to know what would be like for the mixture of Korean and Taiwanese.

辛曉琪仍然堅持一年一碟，上年的專輯為「談情看愛」，前年的專輯「怎麼」也是在年尾推出，今年更是姍姍來遲！今次的「永遠」專輯在概念上來了一個突破，就是所有歌曲旋律部分全部Made in Korea，十隻歌曲全部與韓劇主題曲掛鉤，可謂一股強勁「韓」流。歌詞部分當然由台灣填詞人根據劇情重寫，編曲亦實而不華，純以傳統樂器如琴鍵、結他、弦樂等為主，若想找新派Hip Hop、R&B，對不起，辛曉琪不會造這些。
「永遠」的抒情與壯麗是辛曉琪的專長，編曲層次分明。一隻bass緊緊入扣，但絕不奪去人聲部分。「You Can't Say」為Pop folk曲式，辛曉琪一向少唱英文歌，但少唱不等於唱不好，她選擇以較軟性的民歌腔去處理，便達到舒服的效果。淡然的味道，突然間，毫不著跡地衝上假音，那種流暢絕不遜於Mariah Carey，此曲的vocal部分由薜忠銘監製，他要求的應該是一種亮麗透明的處理。
「火花」是一首特別的合唱曲，因為韓曲原唱歌手柳列保留一段韓語獨唱，可算為整張專輯保留了一點韓味，「情定大飯店」處理得如一首詩歌般。而第一首「Reason」為韓劇「藍色生死戀」的主題曲之一，是一首鋼琴獨奏，辛曉琪親自操刀更加有賣點和說服力，節奏的掌握及力度控制方面均算滿意。而最後一曲「Two different lovers」是一首沒有歌詞的吟唱，更加前呼後應。 唱片公司及製作人肯定是想過度過，認為與其只改編兩三首韓劇主題曲，倒不如統一整張專輯，將其造大，事實上這樣的高姿態亦不得不引起很多樂評人的注意。至於一般觀眾，也會基於好奇心，想去聽聽「韓曲台編」的音樂種類會是那樣子。

It's a very interesting album. Taiwanese singer Winnie takes the whole album for singing Korean TV theme songs. From that we can see that the Korean hit is fully occupied in Taiwan. After re-arrangement, the songs have different feeling through the voice of Winnie. This album is a gimmick, no matter you are a fan of love songs or Korean drama, you shouldn't miss this.

很有趣的一張大碟。台灣歌手辛曉琪用一整張大碟來唱韓劇的主題曲，可見韓風已經完完全全在台灣登陸。碟中歌曲包括有藍色生死戀，愛上女主播等港人比較熟的韓劇主題曲。改編後由辛曉琪唱出，真的別有韻味。火花一曲更找來原唱韓國歌手柳列合唱，屬噱頭之作。這張碟實在食正潮流，不論情歌擁躉或者韓劇迷都不容錯過。
