Christian Faith, Professions and Academic Disciplines

Time flies. It was about three years ago that I graduated from University. Now many of my friends from school and university have already started their work in their respective professions, trying hard to get their way ahead, while others stay on in universities, making their way towards their PhD.

Both in university and after graduation, many Christian friends have faced a lot of challenges and struggles, from critical reasoning to moral values, from time and money management to personal relationship. To be a practising Christian in our professions or academic disciplines is difficult enough. How on earth are we able to witness for the Lord?

Here I would like to invite my familiar brothers and sisters in Christ, who have recently graduated from university, to share with us in writings their struggles in faith in their work-places or research institutions, and how they face them. From the perspective of their faith, how would they interpret their daily life of works or academic research? And in their eyes, is there any possibility at all for an integration of their faith and their profession or academic disciplines?
