What is "Britpop" ?

90年代初，由Nirvana等美國樂隊為首的Grunge音樂風潮盛行，直至1994年，英國樂隊 如Oasis、Blur、Suede、Plup等相繼發表專輯反攻美國市場，歌曲繼承The Beatles的流行旋律，另各自加入不同元素，如Oasis六七十年代的迷幻、Pulp的電子disco。九十年代中期英國樂隊再次盛行，這個黃金時期樂評統稱為"Britpop。
