Manager Ferguson, reeling after the 3-0 defeat by Chelsea at Old Trafford, said: 'I don't think we will win it now considering we've had five defeats. We can only afford to lose one more game all season. What the players have now is a challenge - a real challenge. It makes it really difficult now.'
That means United's route back into next season's Champions League may depend on them winning this season's tournament.
