琦遇之前傳 :麵飽情緣

They have found a 500 sq feet flat in a old area. The monthly rent paid is almost two-third of 高積奇’s salary. So 夢天使 decided to find a job. Not long, 夢天使 found a job as a teacher in a secondary school.

At that moment, 夢天使 went to school and came home in the afternoon around 4.p.m. 高積奇 were used to wait 夢天使 in the school door because he did not feel easy. And they went to market for supper. After the supper, 高積奇 washed dishes and do some housework. They seemed like “Jack and Jill”.

They didn’t spend so much money. So in a few years, they collected some of money for a bakery business. 高積奇 had already an idea about it. But they didn’t have any idea how should it call.

One day, 高積奇’s boss would left HK for immigration. He asked for 高積奇 about would he be interested to be a boss. He replied to his boss he needs some time to thought about it. 高積奇 has enough money to buy the business but he need to discuss with 夢天使 .

夢天使 told him don’t be so aggressive.

However, 高積奇 thought seriously that he decided to buy the business from his pre-boss. He named “Danny Bakery” .夢天使 did not have any reason to oppose it. She give some saved money for 高積奇 business. 高積奇 told 夢天使 that quit the teaching jobs. However, 夢天使 did not care what 高積奇 say because she love to be a teacher. Some of her students are really good results in examination and some of them are getting better about their conducts. 夢天使 were always happy when she saw her students.

The Business was not started really well. It’s always loss. 高積奇 always feels very frustrated. 夢天使 always comforted 高積奇 and say don’t give up.

In one say, 夢天使 was diarrhea. And they check the physician (medical doctor).

Doctor says,” Congratulation, you have a child…”

夢天使 and 高積奇 feel very surprised and they decided to read many books about baby.

7 months later, the baby boy was born. 高積奇 always believe he should do something for 光宗耀祖, so he named his son “高祖”.

藍游如, 夢天使’s mother, and 白小鹿 , 高積奇’s mother, know about it and they were very happy and see their grandkids. Just only 高積奇 and 夢天使 refused to care about this. 高積奇 and 夢天使 feels very comfortable because they believe 藍游如 and 白小鹿 were really take care about this.

Usually, 藍游如 come to their home to take care their grandkid. After 夢天使 come home from school, 藍游如would left.

After 高祖’s born, Danny bakery ‘s business was getting better. Right now, there is no profit and loss. 夢天使 is extremely busy. In the morning, she went to school. In the afternoon, she come home to take care her son and cook dinner. She almost spend 12 hours to do all of these. Sometimes 高積奇 would ask…

“ Are you tired. If it’s. quit the job…”

“No, I can’t quit. If I quit, there will be nobody support our family.” 夢天使 replied.

高積奇 thought that he should be better for 夢天使 and 高祖. So, he had decided to do something to increase the profit of the business. For example, extended the business etc.

One year later, the business of Danny Bakery was getting better. 高積奇 decided to open the second store. And right now, 高積奇 requested 夢天使 help him.

“So, What is your decision, Quit the job, OR?”

“No, I don’t want to. I love my students. But never mind, I am going to help you.”

Right now, 夢天使 was extremely busy. She has a teaching job in the morning. In the afternoon, she went to Danny bakery store and in the evening, she cooked for the supper.

First, She really loved to see her students to be better. And also she want her husband’s business to be better. Also, she would prefer 高祖 to be good.

IN Danny bakery store, her task is accounting. She knows a little bit accounting but that’s enough.

Sometimes, 高積奇 always believe that she owned 夢天使 so much because she was getting skinny and she used to be ill after she help her husband.

2 years later, the third store of Danny bakery is opened. Even the business was getting better, but 夢天使’s body was getting worse.

At that moment, 高祖 was a kindergarten student and 夢天使 spend time for 高祖’s study. She believe that the education start from kindergarten. She won’t prefer 高祖 to be a very good result, but she didn’t want 高祖 to be bad.

Sometimes, 高祖 were really naughty. He through things into the ground. Initially, 夢天使 taught her how to be better. Later, she shouted at him or even punish him.

夢天使 didn’t want to punish his son. However, sometimes she can’t control it. She is extremely tired. Sometimes, she had a little dizzy or feel a little bit collapsed.

In one day, 夢天使 is helping 高積奇 about the business of Danny Bakery gross. Then , he showed all the figures for 高積奇. Suddenly, she WAS REALLY COLLAPSED AND SHE WOOULDN”T GET UP!!

“天使, wake up…. Oh my Goodness. Call 999”

Then Ambulance arrived and sent 夢天使 to hospital. Then 高積奇 called 藍游如 and 白小鹿 about it. They were very shocked and frightened.

“ How could that be?” They wiped it.

After doctor diagnosis, he said something very serious to 高積奇.

“高先生, I have seriously told you that your 太太 has been diagnosis she got liver cancer!!”

“What?”

“Maybe she spend so much time in working. So…”

“Oh!”

“She is in the 3rd period. She need somebody to donate a liver for transplant the liver…

Otherwise…”

高積奇 with the sorrow mind told the sad news to 藍游如 and 白小鹿. They cried instantly.

At that moment, 高積奇 and 夢天使 were waiting for the suitable liver for the transplant.

高積奇 and 高祖 are used to visit 夢天使 after school time. Right now, 高祖 was getting better right now. He was not so naughty than before.

藍游如 and 白小鹿 always visited her in the morning time. They always brought some homemade soup or congee for 夢天使. Sometimes, they made some herbal medicine for 夢天使. They hope it could help for 夢天使.

Even 夢天使 and 高積奇’s father know it, it seems they don’t care about it.

高積奇 has been planned that his 4th store would be opened soon. However, 夢天使’s illness made him nervous and worried. He spent much time to visit 夢天使. At that moment, he didn’t care what method it is, he must save 夢天使.

高積奇 knocked the door in夢世傑‘s house. He hoped that 夢世傑 would help him. However, he didn’t answer the door. He rang so many times. Later, He kneeled behind the door. When some body opened the door, 高積奇 has knelt for over 4 hours. It is 夢’s family maid. She said that here is the letter for 高積奇.

After 高積奇 read the letter, he feel very disappointed. The content of the letter is that he broke down the relationship with her daughter, so he has no obligation to help her….

Ok. Here is original home, his father home. Same thing what he did in 夢’s house.

What is the result? Same thing. No response. 高積奇 left his old flat with sorrow mind.

Months and months. There were no suitable liver for 夢天使. On one day, 高積奇 read a news about that the operation that cut the liver into 2 parts for the donation….

夢天使’s body was getting worse and getting weak.

On one day, 高積奇 and 高祖 visited 夢天使. When they are chatting, 夢天使 was dizzy again. 高祖 called the doctor. At a few moments, the most tragic thing happened.

“高先生, your wife is in 4th period. If we cannot find a suitable liver, she will….”

“ I know it. Thanks.”

After a few moments, 高積奇 discussed something inside the doctor office.

Later on, 高積奇 told 夢天使 a good news.

“We have found a suitable liver for you…”

夢天使 feels very glad with tears.

Two days later, the operation began. It takes about 2 hours to transplant it.

Two day later, 夢天使 woke up and she feel a little weak. But she was steady and getting energetic. 高祖 , 夢天使 and 白小鹿 and some her classmate visit her. But wait a second, where was 高積奇?

“Dad was in Danny bakery store. He was really busy right now.” Everybody sighed.

It seemed OK. However, something 夢天使 didn’t know.

Two days later, 夢天使 was walking along the aisle of hospital. Suddenly, she saw a gentleman was lying on the bed. Wait. He is 高積奇 . 夢天使 fely very frightened and ask a doctor and doctor said

“You don’t anything about his? Your husband loves you so much. He donated half of the kidney for you. If he didn’t do that, I believe you can’t alive.”

夢天使 feels fallen and she feel shock. Then, she cry loudly. 藍游如 visited her. 夢天使 spend 2 days for crying and looking for her husband. She always hope that her husband might be recovered soon. The only thing she could do is 高積奇 ‘s recovery. 夢天使 spend at least 16 hours to accompany with 高積奇.

The operation was done just 2 weeks. 夢天使 ‘s body was getting better but 高積奇. was getting worse. 夢天使 was asking doctor anxiously about 高 積奇. . The reply of the doctor was it was depend on his mind. There is nobody could help him. 夢天使 feel a bit of disappointed. 夢天使 was always weeping when she was watching 高積奇. Lying on the bed. She was really afraid if 高積奇. Was…

She prayed a lot. The only thing she hoped was her husband recovery.

Two days later, her husband was awake! 夢天使 feels very happy and embraced with高積奇. .

“天使 , I feel sorry that I didn’t inform you about the operation..”

The doctor said 高積奇. was getting steady right now.

“積奇, I will not forgive you if you…I am really afraid if you.”

“Nevermind, I am OK”. 夢天使 was weeping again.

高積奇. worried about the business of Danny Bakery. Fortunately, every thing were on track even without 高積奇. and 高積奇. feel relieved His employee were very loyal and hard-working. He feels more comfortable to recovery.

Everyday, 夢天使 spent much time to accompany with 高積奇. . Their relationship was increased undoubtedly. Sometimes they feel some strangers were walking around them.

A month later, 高積奇. and 夢天使 were fully recovered. They celebrated their recovery with 藍游如 and 白小鹿. They went to one of popular restaurant for the dinner.

A few days later, 高積奇 were back to Danny bakery for his business. Every body were happy after his recovery. 夢天使 were quit her teaching jobs since she was in hospital. She feel very lucky that she has a very nice , kindly-heart and truly loved husband, 高積奇. So, she decided she spends much time with her husband, her son, 高祖, and to be a volunteer. In the morning, she spent time in community center and in the evening she taught 高祖 about homework. At night, she cooked delicious food for the family. 藍游如 believe 夢天使 was a fabulous wife.

5 years has passed so fast. 高積奇 create a special promotion for his customer. All of buns and cakes were 20 % off. In addition, since all 3 stores of Danny bakery has a steady increased of the sales, 高積奇 decided every staff has $300 bonus.

On the day of the 5th anniversary of Danny Bakery shop, 夢世傑 walk in. However, there is no staff can recognize him. He saw any corner of the store. His image of the store… Clean, neat. The bread is so fresh and the every staffs are so polite and user friendly. Actually, he visited different Danny Bakery store. This time he believes 夢天使 and 高積奇 spend a lot of effort, time to build up the business. Her daughter was a Hong Kong University under graduate. However, she would like to marry with a bakery guy. And she pay a lot of rough work and do not mind to be poor. He also believes the loves between 高積奇 and 夢天使 is more than he expected. He would like to do something for her daughter because she has just only 1 daughter, no son.

At this moment, 夢世傑 feels hungry. At this moment, 高湯馬’s appears. In normal scenario, they must be fight with each other. However, they shaked hands. Why?

Actually, they were not only they are not rivals, but also they had deeply friendship. from long time ago. During the World War II fighting with Japan, 夢世傑 and 高湯馬 were companions. They killed numerous Japanese. After the winning, actually, their friendship would be ceased.

Both oldies had been bought a “Pineapple bun” and walked to the park and sat in the bench. Before they ate ,they looked at the bun and they think in the war time, there were a lot of people no food. History is pass. They thought they should do something for their kids and their future. They both laughed.

A few months later, it was 8 anniversary of 高積奇 and 夢天使 wedding. 藍游如 and 白小鹿 brought a special gift for 高積奇 and 夢天使. 夢世傑 and 高湯馬 appeared in their front. However, they looked very easy.

“積奇, 天使, from right now, we know that you were the best couples ever we have seen. 世傑, you donated part of your liver for my daughter. I believe 天使 and you were truly love. Excellent match. I feel fortunate that my daughter married with such an good husband. Also, I believe your father did a correct thing about those soldiers.” 夢世傑 said it happily.

“Also, it was gift from me. I have just only one child. I need to do something for the future of my daughter and my son-in-law.” 夢世傑 added it. It’s a contract. He invested all his money he got for Danny’s bakery. He knows that if they have enough money, it’s more convenient for them to build up their business. That’s great!! 夢天使 cannot control emotion and cry. And she braced with her father.

Since then, 高積奇 had enough money to enhance his business. In addition, he was assisted by his father-in-law, 夢世傑. The business was grown rapidly. In the next 10 years, Danny Bakery has more than 20 stores in HK and it was one of the most popular bakery stores in HK. 夢世傑 and 高湯馬 did as much as they can before they passed away.

夢天使 after told the story and 阿琦 feels how romantic with this relationship.

On the next day, 高積奇, 夢天使, 高祖, 阿琦 and both kids went to cemetery for their parents. They had been passed away 5 years before. Even they started very roughly, 夢天使 and 高積奇 feel very lucky in a recent few years. Their relationship was bonded strongly. Many friends and relative agree that they were the most romantic couples around them.
