The first day of the school begins. Shirley secondary school has a new teacher. Yeung Siu Ki is a graduate student whom major in Chinese Language. She hopes, as a teacher, would like to educate teenager to be good.
When she arrived at the school, there are a lot of “ new face”. A lot of new students and a lot of new “staff”---- teachers. When she goes into the classroom, all these young adult are sitting on their desk and waiting their new class-period teacher. Many boys are wristling!! Because a very beautiful woman standing behind them as their class teacher.
No need to say, introduction. When Siuki writtinig her name for introductory. A pupil ask SiuKi,” Do you have boyfriend”. As a matter of fact, when SiuKi was a student, she has a boyfriend. However, they broke up with some reasons. She avoids to mention about this.
The classroom is so noisy and messy. Miss Yeung(Siu Ki) could not control it. Suddenly, Mr.Au, a ruthless teacher, is nearby. Walking inside the classroom, he angrily shouted to all classmates,” Shut UP!!!! Are you fellow are crazy!! This is the first day of your class. You are so pathetic!! Detain until I come back!! ”
Hay Hay and Pauline are primary classmates. Hay Hay says,” He is Mr.Au. His nickname “Killer”!!” Hay Hay knows it because her elder sister was studying in Shirley secondary school.
Miss Yeung feels embarrassed and giggling. After plotting the timetable and distributing school calendar and “school rules”, all they should do was waiting the “killers” coming back!!
Half an hour later, Mr. Au returns. He feel that all these pupils are getting better than before. “Ok, all you class may go.” And all students leave immediately.
“Hi, my name is Mr.Au” Mr. Au introduced,”You must be Miss Yeung, a new teacher. I am a district teacher in the school.You may not so kindly to all naughty kids because they do not define what is good or not ”
“Yes , Ah Mr. Au, but you are so serious about discipline !!”Miss Yeung replies
“You Bet!! However, teenagers are getting less respect as before. I had some students were very naughty. After my discipline, they were getting better, even their academic results was not good enough!! That is my bottom line, also my responsibility!!”
“OK.”But in Miss Yeung mind. Orthodox teaching was not necessary. She believe pay more respect to all students is the other way to teach student.
When Miss Yeung was a student, She was not really rebellious but a little naughty. She dyed her hair and used to chart with her classmate. However, when she was F.4, Miss Yeung was positively guided by her teacher. This teacher never punished any student. He would like to respect every student. Miss Yeung knows that other students prefer to pay attention to what teacher’s taught about. At that moment, Miss Yeung would like to be a teacher also.
The first day of the schools starts. The first class is----MATHEMATICS. Everybody scare because Mr. Au is a high- discipline teacher. He required his students in a very high
conduct. It is zero acceptance in any misconduct behaviour.
After 3 weeks later, Hai Hai, Pauline, Loo Winnie, Apple and Angel are sitting together for their lunch. They discuss all of their new teacher.
“Mr. Au is a serious teacher. However, he was so responsible for our study. He does not hesitate to answer any mathematics problem. His lecture is so clear and understandable. Mathematics is my weakest subject and his help enhance my confidence of my Mathematics! However, HIS TEST IS EXTREMELY CHALLENGING. Nobody get pass by his test !! ” Loo Winnie says.
“Mr Ching and Mr Wong are very handsome. They are so gentlemen. Mr. Wong painting is so versatile. He maybe the second Van Gogh, or Picasso….I would like to ask him how to plot comics. “ Says Apple.
“ Mr Lau is the teacher I admire the most.” Angel replied,” His words makes everybody laugh. He was one-of-the-kind teacher. His story makes us fascinated. Good talker.”In fact, Angel’s study is not bad. She likes quite intellectual teacher as Mr. Lau.
“ I like Miss Yeung the most.” Says Hai Hai,” she never punishes students and she pays more attention to listen the other students. Also, she would like to spend time to chatting with us. I think she spends more time to be a nurse or social worker are more preferable.”
“ I like Mr . KO and Miss Chan,” says Pauline.” Mr. Ko lived in United States more than 9 years so his English is so good. Miss Chan learned so much music theory…My father is not a bad teacher also” Mr. Lau is Pauline’s father.
Suddenly, a soccer ball is flying to those girls table. Girls are threatened and screamed .The ball belongs to Edmond. This guy is a football maniac. Lunch time-football. Afterclass-football. His favourite video game---- Perfect Eleven (International Super Star Soccer). His Idol----Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo. His favourite cartoon---Captain Tsubasa!!
“Sorry about that girls.” Edmond replied. Girls are willingly to handover the ball to Edmond.
“I have some Mathematics homework difficulties.” Pauline says.
“ Oh, this question. Oh my gosh. I don’t know hoe to solve it.” Angel replied.
“ Ask 新仔. He is mathematics genius!! He is calculating F4- F5 A. Math questions!!”
When Pauline ask 新仔, 新仔 replies with bad manner,” Your stupid girls. Those questions are easy as ABC! Get lost!!”
