圓形物體越重滾得越遠
The purpose of this experiment is to explain mass will affect the energy of a moving object.
We need to prepare two books, a small round bottle and a large round bottle, a ruler.
First, put a book on the floor, then place another book above it to form a inclined plane. Put a small round bottle on the highest point of the plane. Let it rolls itself. When it stops, calculate the distance that moved by the small bottle. And then repeat again with the big bottle as well.
The result is, the large round bottle rolls farther than the small round bottle.
Why?
In these two situations, air, books, floor have the same friction. The differences between them is the mass. If the mass of a heavier object increases, the energy will then be increased also. Although the two bottles are at the same spot, their distance will be different.
