Dear Blood Donor,

    Whilst we are celebrating the festive season of Lunar New Year, we should not forget that there are many patients waiting for blood transfusion to save their precious lives. In addition, hospitals have recently had a higher demand for type A and type O blood for transfusion therapy. In order to ensure adequacy in blood supply before and after the Lunar New Year holidays, the Blood Transfusion Service would like to call for your support, especially those of type A and type O blood group, to come forward to give blood.

    As a token of appreciation, a limited edition souvenir crystal heart will be presented to those who give blood from 21 to 25 January 2004 while stock lasts. Don't miss the chance!

    During the above period, blood donors can also join a Lunar New Year quiz game.
