10 days in Camp
Hello, everyone! Vee's gone to Stanley for a 10-day-camp, so that's why I am not able to update this website. But, don't worry, I think I can manage to update in a week's time.
Well, now, let me tell you what I've been doing in the SuperCamp. It's definitely an unforgettably exciting experience.
In the Camp, I've tried many new things. For example, climbing a 10-meter-high tree and talking on a rope!!! Does it sound exciting enough? Haha~~ That's what I did and by that, I learnt a lot. Apart from physical strength, the activity needs also the mental one. That means the trust in yourself and the willingness of taking the challenge. Well, though, I didn't make my way successfully up to the rope, I felt really great. You may wonder why? I fell, but I had given a try and got the courage and trust that I may have never dared to give before.
I also learnt some academic skills, e.g. memorizing skills, maths and reading, etc. They surely can help me in schoolwork.
Apart from the academic learning, I know myself more. I've more self-confidence and understand myself better. As an example, I'm a Visual person that means I learnt best in what I see. And the staff is very friendly and helpful in guarding us of stepping out of our comfort zone and in all of our activities.
I'm so glad that I met some new friends in the Camp. Though we only hanged out together for 10 days, I felt as if we're friends for years. I guess that's because we've all gone through the challenging tasks and touching sharing.
10 days, it seems so long at the beginning. However, in the last few days, I felt as if the days were passing like a flash of light... and now I miss the Camp, the Team Leaders and all the friends that I met......
