Psychologists also work in business, industry, and school systems in some capacities that might be unfamiliar to you, doing things you might not think of as psychology. :-)

Industrial/Organizational Psychology

It is about the psychological study of people at work. It deals with such issues as matching the right person with the right job, training people for jobs, developing work teams, determining salaries and bonuses, planning an organizational structure, and organizing the workplace so that workers will be both productive and satisfied.

School Psychology

They are specialists in the psychological condition of students, usually in kindergarten through 12th grade. The role of school psychologists varies substantially depending on the psychologists themselves, their education, and the school system. Broadly speaking, school psychologists identify the educational needs of children, devise a plan to meet those needs, and then neither implement the plan themselves or advise teachers how to implement it.
