The Flag Of Crab
Part 3
Since
that day Soldier found out that picture, he went to have a look of it every day,
and every day he approached the picture, Nho was hiding somewhere near. Every
time Soldier looked at it he found it attract him in a way he could not explain,
as unexplainable as the way Nho looked at Soldier.
A
week after the day Soldier first went to the market, Soldier met Nitram Lobster.
Soldier was wandering alone in the park. He crashed into Nitram indeliberately
and then he fell to the ground.
¡§Oh, I¡¦m sorry,¡¨ Nitram apologized at once. ¡§Are you all
right?¡¨ He offered his hand to Soldier to aid him.
¡§Thank you.¡¨ Soldier tested his limbs to see if they were okay or
not. ¡§I¡¦m all right. Ouch!¡¨ He felt painful when he moved his leg. He lost
his balance and began to fall. Nitram held him immediately so that he could
regain his balance.
¡§I don¡¦t think you¡¦re all right, though,¡¨ Nitram said in a light
voice. He pointed to a bench close to them. ¡§Sit down for a while to rest your
leg before walking.¡¨ He held Soldier¡¦s shoulder and supported him to reach
the bench. After Soldier had sat down, Nitram introduced his name to Soldier.
After exchanging some personal information, Nitram excused himself and said
goodbye. Then something flashed into Soldier¡¦s mind.
He remembered he had seen Nitram before. They had been good friends and
Nitram had helped him a lot to overthrow the old dictators. Then a new king of
Crab Kingdom was elected. The day the king became who he was, his followers held
a party for celebration. Together with Nitram Soldier laughed happily and they
were very drunk. That was the happiest day Soldier could remember. In the
following days the king worked very hard with the others to restore rules and
plans and rebuild everything in his kingdom. Due to his hard work, within a
month peace returned to his realm. Those were memorable days.
But who was he? Could anyone tell him?
¡§Hi.¡¨
A hoarse
woke Soldier up from his memory. Soldier glanced at the one who had spoke to him
in surprise. ¡§I am Nho.¡¨ Nho stared at Soldier as if he was the most
precious thing in the world. ¡§Do I know you?¡¨
¡§My
name is Soldier,¡¨ Soldier replied cautiously. He could barely remember his
face in his memory, but his name sounded like someone he long knew. Despite
this, he claimed, ¡§But I don¡¦t think I know you.¡¨ They looked at each
other in silence for some more time before Soldier said, ¡§May I be excused. I
have to go home.¡¨
¡§We¡¦ll meet again,¡¨ Nho murmured, more to himself than to Soldier.
