The Chinese Herbal Medicine Tour is one of the programmes in the Activity Week Experience Programme of Tak Sun Secondary School.
This programme consists of a four-day tours to the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Science, the Tai Po Kau Special Area, the Lions Nature Education Centre, the walking trail around the Victoria Peak, and a traditional Chinese clinic. Also, there is a herbs planting activity, in which students plant herbs by themselves.
As its name tells, this programme taught us about Chinese herbal medicine - the herbs' respective functions, characteristics, distribution areas and so forth. In the following, you will be introduced five herbs and a meal of herbs. Enjoy yourself !
