The megalopolis is a well-planned, clean regenerated area, protected carefully from pollution in other parts of the world. Before certain political reforms, it is composed of five large cities-the Crystal, the Xavier, the Eternal, the Tide and the Napea. In these five cities, the government cooperated to provide its population with the best services and education. The most high-technology is applied in this megalopolis, and the over all living standard of the people is high.
The distribution of population changed throughout the years gradually as the underwater Eternal City becomes a military base. The richest and the educated move to the capital city-the Crystal City, and the second largest city-the Xavier City, where the economic activities concentrate, for development. The quiet preferred living in the peaceful mountainous areas of Napea City, while the poor are forced to the less advantaged land of Tide City.
After the Xavier City declared independence, the other four cities remain as a megalopolis. However, subtle tension appears as one of the cities prepare to strife for independence, following Xavier City's example.
