Like the Samara, Verlirica is also an ancient nation that possess strong magic power. But they, unlike the Samarans, are not healers. They can either use their latent power to maintain peace, or to destroy it. They are divided into two tribes--the Dragoons and the Euangelos.
The Dragoons are the half-human, half-dragon demons of the night. They are aggressive warriors and strong in both physical and psychic strength. They will do everything they can to ensure they get what they want. In order to find more land to support their expanding population, the Dragoons invaded the Samaran hinterland, almost driving the Samarans to extinction if they weren't stopped by their 'brother tribe'--the Euangelos.
The Euangelos, on the other hand are the hermits of the mountainous areas. They are the 'police' of the Verlirican family. They loathe injustice and they tolerate no wars. They try to maintain peace in the world, and they would throw out any member of the tribe who stirs up undesirable conflicts.
