Albert
Camus is a theist, but he doesnˇ¦t think we can find meaning of life if we
follow god. People would kill themselves that they find life is not worth
living; also die for idea that make life worth living. Camus thinks we had
freedom to choose our life and every day we do the same thing, just like the
Myth of Sisyphus. We never had an end. There is no meaning of what we are doing.
Maybe we can find happiness but absurdity will come together.

Hope Walker is also a theist but she think there would be a better world if we
believe in god. Freedom is not an absolute. If we give up some freedom we can
happiness. But freedom and meaning are not in opposites. Walker also think that
the world with god would solve the moral problem, all person is of equal worth
and have a happy ending.
To sum
up, Camus and Walker have a total different point of view. Though Camus believes
god exists he think god doses not give meaning to our life. We would live and
die for the same reason. The world is absurd. While walker believe god gives
reason for being moral and universe should under god governing.
