Today is
the last acting class. Acting is
not one side only, i.e. not only start by self, you will act because of others.
Through other people we could find our role.
The other people will give you an identity even you don’t who you are. This is same as the real world.
If you are a king wherever you go, in the palace or in a shopping mall,
everyone will treat you like a king and respect you. So you are the king. This is your identity.
We also
learnt to set the stage. Director
would play an important role to decide the setting.
And what I get the main point is the actor must face to the audience.
We must let the audience know we are showing.
I think it may be the most challenging step.
As this is the first step to settle the stage, if it cannot do the best
the following steps will be fail.
The
lesson was past, this is my first time I realise I will have a performance after
as few week. I am not the director,
I don’t need to write the script. It
seems that I need not to prepare anything now.
I hope I could help the director to do something.
She looks very busy. She
must be doing the best for our performance.
During
the lesson, you always say some of our practice you have practised for four
years but we only had one lesson. Do
you think this course is too short for us and it should be a one-year course?
