| The existing Kcr East Rail will extend it's terminus at Hong Hum by one kilometer to Tsim Sha Tsui. This decision was made because it will be more convenient for the publc to go into the Kowloon Central area. The station will link to many underground passageways and will provide a easy link to change over to the MTR Tsim Sha Tsui station.The underground passageways will also bring convenience to shoppers to cross the congested roads above ground. This extension will be completed by the year 2004. |
