| Abu Simbel - it's one of the greatest temple being built during the Ramses era. It was supposed to be buried like tens of thousands other temples because of the construction of the Aswan dam. A joint effort by a number of foreign countries helped rescue Abu Simbel by moving it to the top of the mountain. It was the project of the century by moving brick by brick. |
