Inserting Brochure Links
Inserting a link onto your Erep site for your customers to view the current books, is very easy.. Here is how to do it. |
||||||||||||||||||
Just copy and paste the following links where you want them. Of course you will have to change the CAMPAIGN NUMBERS to reflect the CAMPAIGN books that you want to be able to pull up. . Make sure that you change BOTH sets of numbers. The FIRST "URL" code is for the IMAGE of the Avon Books. The SECOND "URL" is the actual LINK to the books! And the WORDS "Campaign XX" are what will show beneath the image of the books.. these words ARE the link! So make sure that when you update your site from campaign to campaign.. that you change EVERYTHING!! TO change it for the next book.. you will ONLY need to change the Campaign NUMBERS... you WILL NOT have to delete the whole HTML CODE and repaste it! |
||||||||||||||||||
In order for these html codes to work.. you will have to ERASE the *** at the BEGINNING and the END of each set of codes... Paste the code into your site.. per the instructions below.. THEN erase the *** . The asteric's are so that the links will post HERE.. and show the actual HTML text instead of just showing the link.

Prep'ing your Erep Site to recieve HTML Coding
1. Open your Web Office... Click on the "Website Editor" Tab. 2. Under step 3 (Edit your Home Page) on the Website Editor page - Click on any one of the little EDIT buttons on the column that you want to insert the pic/clipart/slideshow etc. into 3. In the little box that opens up .... click on the EDIT CONTENTS button. It is EASIEST to start with a blank page when you are pasting in pics/clipart.. unless you are used to working with HTML coding. 4. At the BOTTOM of the Edit Contents page... there is a little CHECK BOX that is labeled... "Edit in HTML code".. check this box! If you have anything already typed into the column.. it WILL turn FUNNY!... DO NOT WORRY... this is just the HTML coding for what you already have typed into the column! 5. Paste the HTML code for your pic/clipart/slideshow etc. into the column where you want it to go. 6. Either click on the "Edit in HTML code" box again to UNCHECK it.. and continue editing your column.. OR click on the SAVE button (bottom, far right corner) to save your changes. 7. ALWAYS click on the SAVE & PUBLISH button after you have saved your changes.. BEFORE you go to edit another column! That way they you won't lose the changes that you have just made!! 8. THere is a Black Lettered link in the TOP RIGHT CORNER of the Website Editor page.. it says "VIEW PERSONAL WEBSITE" .. click here to view your website, to determine whether anything needs to be adjusted.. made smaller or larger or moved up or down, etc.. |
