International Understanding Day 2001 of Penang

          The 1^st combined International Understanding Day 2001 was the first of its kind to be held in Malaysia. The International Understanding Day was held on the 10^th February 2001 in Penang. It was organized by the Rotary Club of Penang and the Interact Club of Penang. This I.U. Day was a grand affair and there were over 200 interactors from all over the country. Seven interactors from our club participated in the I.U. Day. Among the activities organized included games, workshops and a grand fellowship dinner. The I.U. Day gave the interactors an opportunity to mingle with other interactors and thus exchange ideas and make more friends. On the whole, the I.U. Day was a success and it was both enjoyable and beneficial to all of us.
