Canteen Day 2001

On  the 8th June 2001 , Canteen Day 2001 was carried out successfully. This year’s fund raising project is aimed to buy a brand new PA system set and to subsidese on the curtain in the hall. On that day, over 200 interactors were divided into 10 groups. Food stalls were set up at the astaka, canteen A and canteen B. Among the variety of food included “ Tom Yam”,

“Muaci”, soft drinks, “wat-tan-ho”, “Pearl shake” and others delicious. The food was sold during the morning session’s recess time (9.50 – 10.45 am), after school (12.30 – 2.10 pm) and during afternoon session’s recess time (4.30 – 5.30 pm). Interactors started their work, preparing the food early in the morning. The response from students was the overwhelming.

Teachers and pupils really enjoyed themselves and the food was really tasty. At the end of the day, interactors cleaned the canteens and made sure that it was clean.with all the effort and contribution made by the organizing committee, the board of director, the teacher advisors and all interactors to set up this project had promised a fruitful achievement. Total together we managed to earn RM6501.80.
