Visit To Little Sister of The Poor

Our club organized a visit to Little Sister of The Poor in Penang on the 19^th April 2001. 75 interactors and 3 teacher advisors participated in the trip. We charted 2 buses and arrived in Penang at about 10 a.m.  We spent about 2 hours visiting the inmates of ‘ the Little Sister of The Poor ’ which was the main objective of our trip. We donated a sum of RM1026 collected from our school apart from RM500 donated by our club. Besides that, we also visited University Science Malaysia. Interactors visited the museum and the Art Gallery. After that,

We went around the campus under Mr. Siddharthan’s guidance. Then, we went on a shopping spree at the Bukit Jambul Shopping Complex and had our dinner at Gurney Drive before heading back home. The trip was very interesting and the interactors really benefited.
