Here are a few hints in English:

Either use a Sound Blaster tool or multimedia tool for recording a wave
file or use the internal recording feature ("Aufnahme"). External tools
should be set to 11.025 kHz sampling rate, mono, 8 bit resolution.
Internal recording and real-time decoding is possible only with
sufficient computing poser. It is best to take advantage of the full
dynamic, but make sure that there is no clipping. YOU MUST NOT USE
THE AGC! "Aufnahme - Test" will show the input signal.

In the "Parameter" menu you will find all necessary adjustment
features:
- With Grd.-Verst. (basic amplification) yoou adjust
the program to your receiving equipment and to your
sound card so that the upper histogram will just go
to 100 %. Only after this you may adjust V1/2 and
O1/2 for an optimal picture (see below).
- Untertr. = Subcarrier frequency.
- The line frequency is expressed as lengthh of line in
  number of subcarrier periods, "Zeilenl.").
- Sync-Ton is the frequency of the sync burrst.
- Fax Sync is for geostationary satellites that provide a
black/white phasing information at the beginning of the
  picture.
- Select DualCh if the satellite transmits alternate IR/VIS
  channels like NOAA.
- Check setting "Eichw."(= generate calibraation) to record max/min etc.
You may later watch this information with Menu "Eichen".
This setting also enables the Histogramm menu item.
- Use "Lock" to lock a PLL to the subcarrieer. If your source
is a tape recorder you may have to adjust PLL (proprotional
part) and AFC (integral part) of the digital local
  oscillator.
- Use "SyncDet" to demodulate AM with mixinng rather than
with rectifying. That gives somewhat better pictures but
takes a little longer for processing. It only works together
  with "Lock" feature.
- Adjust "Farbampl." for color saturation.
- Use "Vorlauf" for forwarding some secondss of .wav file before
  starting the decoding.
- Use V1/2 (amplification) and O1/2 (offsett) to adjust best
luminance (and chrominance) of picture. You may get help
from the graphs at "Eichen - Histrogramm". Upper graphic shows
input amplitudes, lower graph luminance and chrominance
distribution. Adjust upper curve with GesVerst to 100 % first.
Then lower curves representing the picture may be changed:
Luma formula for lower curve is
     luma = V1 * (input1 - O1) [+ V2 * input2]
Second part of formula only if you did not select "Farbe"
  (color).
If you select "Farbe" the color is
     chroma = V2 * (input2 - O2)
High amplitudes are blue, low are red. Very high and very
low color amplitudes as well as very low luminance
amplitudes yield in no color (to get black sea and white
  clouds).
- HorOffs1 and HorOffs2 (horizontal shift) select the luma
and chroma sources from a dual channel signal (NOAA).
  Unit is line length.
- Kennlinie makes you a non-linear luminancce characteristic.
0.0 is linear, 1.0 is pure square root. This way you can
enhance the land-water-boundaries. Settings in between
  mix both characteristics:
  luminance = (1-Kennlinie)*input + Kennlinie*SQRT(input)
- y-Achse stretches the picture in y directtion to get the right
picture geometry. It just doubles lines or omits lines. No
  vertical filtering is performed.
- N-S means north-south, and S-N...
