I AM BY MICHAEL HARRIS I am an athletic maniac determined to achieve my goal that is put in the front of my face. I wondered what college life was going to be like during my first year. I hear the voices of people telling me which directions to choose. I see the glory of people's faces when they cheer for me in the stands at track meets. I want to perform with the best of my ability in every task to make my life easy. I pretend that I know what is going on around me. I feel that success is important in life. I touch the fartest mark of sand in the long jump pit with my hands and feet, as I extend my arms and legs forward. I cry happily, after seeing a loved one accomplish something, that of which, they have viewed as impossible. I understand the meaning of friendship forever. I imagine my future living in a mansion with a lovely wife, two or three children, and a five-car garage filled with sports cars. I cherish the thrill and excitement when competing with other players in videogames. I crave for fruits, candies, deserts, vegetables, and meats when I starved in the classroom before lunchtime. I wish I had the superhero power of freezing time. I adore the Kodak moments of children's laughter when they play. I am an original individual with my own characteristics. That is what I choose to be. |
