Personal Bill of Rights

I have the right . . .
to ask for what I want
to say no to requests I cannot meet
to express my feelings positive and negative
  to change my mind
  to make mistakes
to follow my own values and beliefs
to say no to anything if I feel I am not ready,      if its unsafe or if it conflicts with my values
  to determine my own priorities
to not be responsible for the actions,
    feelings, or behavior of others.
  to expect honesty from others
to be angry with someone I love
to be myself and to be unique
  to express fear
  to say "I don't know"
to give excuses or reasons for my behavior
to make decisions based on my feelings
to my own personal space and time
  to be playful
to be healthier than those around me
  to feel safe
  to change and grow
to have my wants/needs respected by
    others
to be treated with dignity and respect
  to be happy
