From Villeneuve to Schumacher

I watch Formula 1 races from my childhood and my first racing memory is a Montecarlo grand prix from the mid seventy ! And the saddest racing memory is about Formula 1 too, a San Marino grand prix at Imola, the day Senna died I was there. Part of me dead with Senna that day.

Of course I'm a huge Ferrari fan and last year was for me a very special year, we won the championship at last ! after 21 years (I'm 31 years old now so you can understand what it means for me !!!).

Luckily Tyco and the firm which imported this product, Arcofalc, sold a lot of F1 sets in the '80s and '90s so I can find formula cars at flea markets !

One of the best flea market's deal I ever made is doubtless what I call the "1979 French GP set", a normal Tyco F1 Championship set with a Ferrari #12 and a Renault #15... the cars of Gilles Villeneuve and Rene Arnoux !!
