Dodge Viper GTS/R has been the most competitive GT car in the last FIA GT Championship and American Lemans Series. |
If you like GT racing you for sure like this american car with its big nose and its aggressive look.
2000 was the last years for Dodge Viper GTS/R; after a lot of succesfully races during the last years, Dodge retired the car last december.
I casted for now 5 Vipers: my "scuderia" has a red one detailed with 1/43 decals and a yellow without decals. There is a test cast, the green one, with coloured resin but I'm not satisfied with it so I'll not use pre coloured resin again.
The other 2 vipers are for my best racing friend, Nicola Montemurro. He is a big Viper's fan... he loves this car and he is now the happy owner of a couple of racing serpents !!
I cast racing bodies for racing use; they are detailed but are made for racers more than for collectors.
These bodies are hand casted so they are not perfect, usually small air's bobbles are trapped in the mould and it require a little extra work with putty and files to have a very good body.
Once filled with putty these little holes are invisible.
This car has 2 pieces, the main body and the rear wing.
Trimming the wing's posts you can mount it at various height. Best racing solution is to mount it very low to prevent damage.
This body requires a Tyco 440X2 pan chassis with long wheelbase.
