Arod to Helm's Deep

Arod was ridden by Legolas, though recently owned by a rider who was killed by orcs and uruk-hai when Eomer and his group attacked them, out of Fangorn Forest. Eomer lent him the horse, only asking Legolas to return Arod to Meduseld when he was done, after Eomer thought that they had killed their friends, (Merry and Pippin) who were in the group of orcs and urul-hai. Legolas and Gimli rode him, although Gimli disliked riding him, because he was so spirited and wound up all the time. Legolas and Gimli rode him by Fangorn to Helm's Deep, then to Pelennor Fields during the Wars. Arod followed in through the Paths of the Dead with Aragorn on Brego.
