Chapter 7 Their last mission was very fun and they all had fun. The prize was that they got tickets to go to the Olympics next year. Megan was really hoping that things worked in her favor and no one knew about her trials. The next gift was a Nissan X-Terra in any color. Megan: (crying) I can’t believe that this is all over. I had so little self esteem on the beginning of this trip and now I opened up to these 5 great friends and everything. It has been great but now we have to go and I don’t want to, it’s been incredible and I met 5 best friends and this experience I will never forget because I shared so many things with them. Justin: this trip has been great because I met 4 wonderful friends but the 5th one would be Megan, she helped me in so many ways and her impression has been embedded into my heart. I just hope in future years that I find her secret. Everyone has been great and now they’re leaving one by one Dannie: this experience is unexplainable but if I had to explain it in 1 word it would be extraordinary because I am leaving with 5 best friends, a car and a trip to the Olympics. Holly: everyone was my family for the past months and everything and it’s very hard to leave them because  they’re more like family now. I also hope that Megan gets her dream because she deserves it. Jason: I don’t know how to say bye to my best friends because this was the day I dreaded from the beginning. Ryan: I want to thank MTV for finding us and putting us together because we are were made to meet each other because we have this bond to each other. Everyone finally said goodbye to each other and they were off. Megan was glad that she didn’t have to say good bye to Justin yet because she’s grown attached to him over the times. They had a 4-hour plane ahead of them because they were in California and they were glad they could just talk face to face with out any cameras in their life. Justin: you know you can lean against me to sleep Megan: I know, I’m just thinking Justin: about what Megan: my life in general Justin: if you ever need someone to talk to just call and I will always be there for you and I won’t tell anyone what we talk about Megan: thanks Justin, you know I love you right as a brother Justin: of course I do and I just hope that one day we could get together Megan: me too but not right now, you know because I have lots of stuff to do in my life when I get back Justin: ok I will wait for you because we’ll get to know each other more in the years to come. Megan: I know that will happen but right now I need to get to sleep Justin: sure thing Megan went to sleep happy because Justin should always be there for her. Justin’s mom took Megan home because her parents couldn’t make it to the airport because they were in North Carolina watching her brother play. Megan didn’t mind because she needed to sort things out. Megan was dropped off and finally had to say good bye to Justin but it wasn’t heartbreak because they live so close. Then Megan started unpacking things and hung up her awards and she had to go back to the dorm because that’s where all her things were. Over the next month Megan and Justin saw each other a lot but then it came more distant. Over the next year Justin was well known through out the world in Nsync. They had many records broken and they worked hard to achieve them. Meanwhile back in Memphis Megan was working even harder at swimming because Olympic trials were coming up with in the next couple of days. Holly caught a plane and was going to be there for her. When she needed it the most. It was her fifth trip in the past year to see her swim and she is very proud of her. Megan: Holly over here Holly: hey girl it’s great to see you again Megan: me too, let’s go, do you mind if you stay at practice for 2 hours because it was a last minute thing Holly: hey that’s where the best times have happened Megan: ok your suit is still there from last time Holly: ok I’ll take you up on that offer because I’m in the mood for swimming. They went to practice and they all still had fun. Megan went back to the dorm Holly: hey Megan where’s your X- Terra do you still have it. Megan: yeah I do, it’s at my parents house, I usually drive it to practice but Jen is in town so I let her use it. Holly: I didn’t ask you things before but who’s Jen Megan: oh that’s my brother’s 5-year girlfriend, you’ll like her, and we’ll see her tomorrow Holly: that’s cool so have you talked to Justin lately. Megan had just became sad because of everything Holly: I’m sorry I shouldn’t have mentioned it Megan: that’s ok, I haven’t talked to him in over a year now. The last I heard about him was at Christmas 8 months ago because he shipped me a gift Holly: let me guess that necklace Megan was wearing a gold necklace that had a locket and inside was a picture of Megan and Justin hugging each other and they were happy and on the back it said MQ and JT 4-Eva Holly: well at least its something Megan: yeah well we have to get to sleep because the finals are at 9 tomorrow. Holly: ok night, and thank you for telling me Megan: you’re welcome, I couldn’t have done it with out you Holly: yup They went to bed and at 8 they a woke and ate bagels and went to the crowded pool area. Megan had a half-hour to stretch She avoided most of the cameras that were everywhere but she didn’t want to talk about it much. It was all most 3:00 and she was standing up on deck with 9 other people with 3 of them her friends. 5 of them were going to make it but the other 5 will go home. It was time for Megan to swim and Holly was with Megan’s family. Her grandparents were there and so was Kevin. Announcer: swimmers take your marks Bang!!!!!!!!!! The swimmers we off and Megan was taking it slow and then about half way through she was leading. On the way back she was tied with 2 other of her friends. If you didn’t know they were doing their synchronized thing but they weren’t. Her parents and friends that were there prayed for her to do well because last time she missed it but so little but this time. The 3 girls pulled ahead of the swimmers and they all just touched and then everyone else touch.
