Chapter 44
I woke up the next morning with the biggest headache.I slowly got out of bed and to the bathroom.I washed my face and put my hair up into a loose ponytail.I walked downstairs and to the kitchen where I found Justin eating some cereal."goooooooooooood morning!!!!" He smiled brightly. I turned to the fridge and opened it."morning." "well someone's grochy this mornig." I just shrugged as I popped a begal into the toaster."let me see could it have anything with you taking some of my drinks?" I poured myself some OJ, "listen J i'm having a bad morning so please don't start with me." I took my begeal and juice and sat next to him.we ate in silence.As I was finished with my food I went over to the living room where I found all the guys gone.' I wonder how late it is?' i thought to myself as I turned on the Tv.'2:30'damn i was really hung over." I thought to myself as I got comfy on the couch.Soon justin joined me and put his arm around me.I laid my head on his chest."j?" "yea mary?" "who was that girl last night?" "just a friend."he said as he looked down at me.'Thats what they all say.' I thought to myself."she was a girl who lived down my street in Tennesse.She was just telling me how she still lives there and how she's down for a vacation." "ohh." "why did you think I was flirting with her or something?" "well thats what it looked like to me from where I was."Justin kissed my forehead and said,"I have the most beautiful,amazing,fun girl in my arms now why would I even bother to look at others?"I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist and he did the same.I was overwhelmed with happiness and a tear slid down my cheek.Justin saw and wipped it away as he asked,"whats wrong?' "nothing its just that I haven't been happy in a long time." he lifted up my chin and said," all i hope is to bring you happiness." Then he kissed me softly and as i began to open my mouth to let his tongue in when i heard monika's voice,"Come on guys,I don't wanna see thatfirst thing in the morning!!" we both pulled away from eachother and laughed. "you know if it were you and joey you wouldn't be complaining."She just smiled and said,"well.. you know.." we both burst out laughing."well if all i have to do is get joey then... "Justin started to say as he got up and went for his cell phone.Monika ran to the counter and got there before he did," Justin you gotta promise me the same thig mary did and that is to not say a single word.If he comes around then i want to know that's its all him and no help from either of you guys. got it??"Monika said being very sincere and serious with him."I got it.Dont worry I'm sure joe sees you for the great person that you are.Just give him some time and he'll make his move." Justin said patting her back as he helped me up." And as for us we'll be upstairs."He said with a sly grin.As we entered his room he went straight to the bed and layed down, while i went to the dresser and picked out what i was going to wear."what are you doing??" Justin asked." I'm going to take a shower."sounds good to me." He said as he started to get up from his bed." I don't think so, I said I was taking a shower meaning me, solo, got it? Don't even think of trying anything justin.I love ya and all but " "I know i know...I was just kidding anyways." I smiled and walked over to him and gave him a kiss."I'll be out before you know it." I walked into the bathroom and closed the door.I came out in my khaki shorts and my angel sleeveless shirt.Justin wasn't in his bed.I walked down the hallway to the stairs and I heard a shower going.Then when i got downstairs monika wasn't in the living room and I heard the shower downstairs going.'huh? thats funny they are both taking a shower, now that i got some time to myself what should i do??' I opened the glass sliding door and headed outside. I walked out onto the deck and leaned my body against the railing.I lookout to the scenery of the beach.I started to think about everything that has happened in the past coulpe of months.it was all of a surprise but a wonderful one.I was back with my best friend and we had fallen in love it was puppy love but I knew it was growing into something much more.I felt a cool breeze against my face.I was standing there smiling when i heard a familiar voice,"There you are, I was looking all over for you." Then I turned my face to see justin standing at the doorway with a wife beater on and some sweats on. "yea you found me." He came behind me and put his arms next to mine."what are you smiling about?" he whispered.I told him," I feel like I'm in another world, I haven't felt this happy in years and of course I'm always thinking of you." He turned me around to face himand said," well for one thing this isn't another world or dream and you deserve to be happy.I'm the luckiest guy in the world to be with the most amazing girl I've ever known and I'm not about to let another guy get that chance." I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled in for a kiss." You know I was a little jealous when I saw you on the dance floor with lance. I have something to confess....I get a little selfish with letting other guys get a little taste of my girl." I blushed and laughed a little,"well there's no way I will ever find a guy who is better looking or more perfect then the one I already got,You are my prince charming.You swept me off my feet just like I've always dreamed of." He had a big smile on his face."Oh, Really?" He picked me up and carried me into the house past the living room where monika and joey,jc,and chris were (they came back while I was outside) and upstairs and into his room.He closed the door and put me down on his bed.He turned on his stereo and played some some music.He came over to me and offered me his hand saying,"It would be honored if you'd dance with me."Without saying a word I placed my hand in his and got up. He pulled me to the front of the bed and placed my arm behind his neck.He wrapped me up in his arms. I placed my head on his shoulder as we danced slowly.It seemed that hours had passed by just by being in eachother's arms.All of the sudden Justin went over and stopped the music and told me to get dressed up.I looked at him with confusion written all over it."what? Now?" i asked."Just trust me." he said as he kissed my hand and left the room.I stood there baffled as what just had happened. I slowly made my way downstairs and got monika."mon, I kinda need your help." I said sincerely."Whats up Mar?" She said concerned."just come with me upstairs." She nodded and followed me to Justin's room. I explained to her what happened and helped me pick out a red summer like dress that was a little long and slightly passed my knees."what do you think of this??" I asked her. " I think you look good." " Not about the dress I mean this whole thing that he just left like that and telling me to get dressed up." " Maybe he has someting romantic planned you never know what he has up his sleeve with that boy." She said with a smile." Now for the sandals." She said as she looked in the closet and pulled out white strapy sandals."here you go perfect!" She said all happy as she handed me them.I put them on and it made me 2 inches taller." Now for the make up and hair." I said and she just pointed to the bathroom and I led them way.She sat me down and started on my make up."there you look all glamorous just like a star!" she said minutes later.She clipped my hair in the back half up and the other down. " thanks mon I can always count on you for everything." "thats what I'm here for babe,that and joey!" we both laughed as I made my way down stairs.we walked into the living room but none of the guys saw becuz they were caught up in there video games.Monika cleared her throat and the guys paused their game and looked over.They all dropped their jaws."M..mary you look ..." chris couldnt even finish his sentence. " you look amazing." Justin said walking up from behind the guys with a single rose and handed it to me as he kissed my hand.I smiled,"you don't look bad yourself..romeo." He was wearing nice black slacks and a silky blue buttoned up shirt and he had his curls under control with gel.He Led me to the front door." Don't wait up for us." he said as he opened and closed the door. He opened my car door,"My lady." He got in and started the car."May I ask where we headed to?" He looked at me with that sexy smie of his and said," That my dear is a surprise." My face lit up.We drove around for awhile until he parked.As he helped me out of the car I saw that we were at the beach.He told me to hold on a sec as he went to the trunk and took out a blanket and a basket.Then he linked his arm with mine as we walked onto the sand and close to the shore.He then layed out the blanket and placed the basket down and began to set up the food.He had made dinner for two."We begin with the main meal which I made,chicken Alfrado,And i don't mean to brag but it is my specialty and for desert we have cheese cake." I was amazed that he had done so much."You have really out done yourself,Justin.I can't believe you." I said stunned as I looked around at where i was and trying to see if it was real or a dream. " Well you better believe it baby I'd do anything for you and this is nothing compared to what I have planned for us In the future but lets not talk about that right now." I nodded as I just leaned into him and Kissed him passionately.After a minute I pulled away."WOW.What was that for? not that I'm complaining." "for everything." I simply said,"we better eat our food before it gets cold." I said as I picked up my fork.We sat there talking abut everything and how he wanted me to go on tour with him again and that the other girls were also welcomed.He took out the cheese cake only to find out it was a piece of the cake.We took our turns feeding eachother the desert but started to get ugly when i smered some on his upper lip.I laughed."You think thats funny then you'll love this." he said taking his finger and getting some on the tip of my nose.I took the rest of it and was about to shove it in his face when he told me to come closer and he kissed my nose take it off.I placed some on my lips."opps! you missed a spot." i saidas i smiled evily and he grinned."Oh well then here let me help you with that." he kissed me softly.I pulled away,"we got to move this out of the way."I said refering to the food and plates.He took everything and put in back in the basket.we sat closer together.He saw that I was starting to get goosebumps."cold?" "uh huh." He opened his legs and I snuggled between them and leaned on his back as he brought his arms around me.I looked up at him." I know something that will warm me up really quick. He looked at me with his brow raised," And what would that be?" he said very shyly."come closer and I'll tell you." he moved his face closer and I kissed him.we pulled back and looked straight to the ocean.I felt a sense of calmnesss and happiness come oevr me.He started to tell stories about what happened behind the scenes on MMC.How he met Jc and how he dated a girl that reminded him of me."Oh really??" I asked turning to face him." Yeah I was missing you so bad that I kind of kept thinking she was you.Sometimes when I was talking to her I would slip up and say your name.She wasn't very happy." I let out a laugh.I filled him in on Middle school and how tugh it was for me.How I really wanted him to be there with me.I looked up at the sky and I wished on a star that this Happiness would last forever."what are you doing??" he asked breaking my concentration."just making a wish." "what did you wish for?"Can't tell ya then it wont cometrue." " yes it will I'll make it come ture."He said with a smile."If you must know, I wished for this happiness to last forever." I said barely above a whisper.He put his head on my shoulder."As long as you have eachother it wil because I'd do anything to keep it this way." I smiled and blushed like a little girl.Justin got up and helped me up to my feet. He looked into my eyes and said,"Mary, I love you with everything I have." I looked into his clear blue eyes," I never felt this way before about anyone and I knew it was because I have never and will never love anyone the way i love you." We both got a little teary eyed and we shared a very passionate kiss.I felt like I was dancing in the clouds.Justin picked me up and spun me around.Justin then put me down and glanced at his watch."wow! i was having so much fun that i lost the track of time." "what time is it?" "time to get back."I stuck out my lip and began to pout and gave him my puppy face.I walked up to him so that our faces were inches apart and whispered in my baby's voice"do we have to??" He gave me a playful kiss and said " yes." I gave a pout as he picked up the blanket as well as the basket.he went to put them back in the trunk as I looked out to the water.I felt his arms come around my waist.I rested my head on his chest.He put his head on my shoulder and whispered,"beautiful isn't it?" "breath taking." I whispered back. He kissed my cheek.After a moment he spoke up," come on." I didn't budge."Ok if you wont move then I'm afraid I'll have to pick you up." A big grin crept up on my face."Only if you can catch me first ." I said as i picked up my sandals that I took off earlier and took off running towards the shore line.just was chasing after me for awhile.We always raced eachother when we were little and we were both really fast, but he would usually beat me.he was still on my tail.I looked back to see him two feet behind me and at that moment I felt my foot land in a hole and i lost my balance and fell to my knees.I started to laugh,justin thought i was crying at first.It took him a few seconds to realize before he was helping me up and had me wrapped in his arms."are you ok?" he asked concern apparent in his voice."No big deal." I said.Then i saw that i was standing on one foot."uh i think you are going to have to carry me afterall." he looked down at my foot to see it swell up a bit.I wrapped my arms around his neck as he picked me up.He put my in the car,ran over to his side and jumped in.we pulled away and soon we were back.i kind of doze off.As we pulled up on the driveway i broke the silence," figures with my luck I'd get hurt on our special night."" yea as I rememebr correctly you were always the one to play hurt." I hit him on his arm playfully."hey!!!" and i crossed my arms over my chest." Well at least now I know the ture feelings you had about me."he cupped my face in his hands," do you want to knwo my true feelings??" I just nodded. " you know that I love you and am willing to do anything for my best friend who is also my beautiful girlfriend."I just starred into his eyes," I've been waiting to heard those words from you for a very long time now." then kissed him.He got out and picked me up and walked to the door,which i had to unock."well I guess this is the end of our date huh?" i said as i turned the key."yea but not the last."he gave me a kiss and then walked in and closed the door with his foot.He walked up the stairs and then layed me down on the bed.he disappeared and then came back with an ice pak for my ankle.I guess i had twisted it.As justin went into the bathroom i changed into the PJs he left besides me. Soon we werre under the covers and cuddling. |
