Chapter 46
I was woken up by a soft kiss on my cheek. I slowly stirred and opened my eyes to see jsutin sitting next to me on the bed.Across his lap was a tray that had a plate of eggs and toast along with a glass of OJ and in the corner was a single red rose." Awwww! Justin this is so sweet of you!" I kissed him.After I ate Justin took up the tray and left, leaving me with the little vase that carried the rose. He came back up a cpouple of minutes later, " come on get up babe, take a shower get into your sports gear and pack a duffle bag with a change of clothes." I tilted my head and asked," Out of curiousity, what exactly are we doing today?" He leaned closer to my face and kissed me then whispered, " that is a surprise, I told you yesterday that we would spend the whole day together." I smiled and got up and headed to the shower. After an hour I went downstairs with my duffle bag and walked into the kitchen picked up two water bottles then headed to the living room to meet up with justin.He got up took my bag and then went outside and got in the car. He put the duffle bags in the back and then drove to the basketball courts.As we walked to the court he held my hand and asked,"Do you know where we are?" I gave him a soft kiss," This is where we played when we were kids, when I scraped my knee and you stripped off your shirt so you could stop the bleeding and then playfully kissed it to make it feel better." We gazed into eachother's eyes and smiled. We started playing and he was impressed at how good my skills were. By the end of the game he had won by a three point shot." you got lucky! Just wait til next time!" He looked at me with a big grin," I plan on taking you up on that." We went back home and showered. When I came back into the room I saw a dress layed out along with the heels.I spotted a note on the side that read : I hope you like what I picked out and I know You'll look great in it ~ Love ~ Justin. P.S. After you're done come meet me at our 'spot' You know which one. I got dressed and picked up the note. 'meet me at our spot?' I realized wheat he meant and I walked downstairs and to the kitchen and went to the counter where I found another note: Don't eat anything. I made something special,here are the keys to the mercedes see you soon!! ~ Justin. A big smile crept across my face.I walked out the door and got into the car. After a short drive I pulled up to the park and walked to our little spot on the hill by the lake.As I came closer to it I saw a blanket on the ground and a basket.I saw justin standing by the tree. He came over to me and took my hand and spun me around," Just as I thought.Beautiful" I blushed," you look hansome yourself." he smiled. we sat down and starred down at the lake. He pulled some saandwitches from the basket along with two bottles of juice.As we ate we talked of different ideas and thoughts of our future. After we finished with our food he pulled out two pieces of strawberry cheesecake." you know my weakness too well." I said as he chuckled.As we finished he started packing everything up and then made more room as he inched closer to me.He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him.I leaned my head on his shoulder. " This is so sweet, no one has ever done anything like this for me before." He looked down at me, " You are special to me and You keep me together ." We kissed. I was overwhelmed with happiness. We stayed for awhile just looking out onto the lake.He started to shift underneath me." Justin what are you doing?" " We gotta go come on." He said as he helped me up and then looked at me," we got other plans,Got to lance's house, everything you need is there." I gave him a confused look." We still have one thing to do before the night is over." He walked me over to the car and gave me a quick kiss before i took off. After a 15 minute drive I pulled into Lance's driveway.I knocked on the door and Lance opened it.He had a smile on his face.As I walked in I gave him a hug. " Lance do you have any idea what Justin's up to?" He smiled even bigger and responded," Actually I do but I'm not supposed to tell you anything except that everything you need is in the guest room." Then I heard pam yell," And I get to do you hair and makeup!!!" She ran into the room grabbed my wrist then started running up the stairs. When we got to the room I saw monika.I was about to throw myself onto the bed when I sw the most gorgeous dress I/ve ever seen layed on it.My jaw dropped." He has good taste doesn't he?" pam giggled."Yea we didnt even help picking it out." monika smiled as she took my hand and sat me in a chair in front of a mirror.I kept looking at the dress through the mirror. It was a long dress with a glitter rose pattern on it.The top was a dark navy blue color, but it faded into a sky blue. It was spaghetti strapped and crossed in the back." So you must tell us about your day so far.How was it?" Pam asked as she started doing my hair.I filled them in on the events of the day as they made me over. An hour later I was walking down the steps and walking into the living room where lance and everyone else was." Ahem." Pam cleared her throat.All the guys heads turned.They all stood up and walked over to where i was standing.They all told me how cute i looked."so are you guys going to wish me luck?" I asked as I hugged them." We would if you needed it but you dont need it." Jc said with a smile. " yea you'll knock him dead with the dress." Joey said looking me up and down, getting elbowed by monika ." so does anyone know where I'm supposed to meet him?" I asked getting the keys out of my purse.They all looked at eachother and shrugged. Then on cue my cell rung. " Hello?" "hey babe. listen I'm on my way dont go anywhere without me." " Ok I'll be here waiting." "what!?!?!" I heard Jc shout and then took my cell from me. " J you know better then to leave your girl waiting for you.It should be the other way around." " I Know jace." " If you dont get here fast chris just might take your girl from you." Justin laughed," Ok jace you got your point across can i speak to my girl now?" Jc handed me my cell back," hello?" " hey babe im sorry for making you wait.I'm right down the block give me two seconds to get there." "ok I'll see you in 2 seconds then." "bye." I hung up and tossed the phone in my purse as I walked to the bathroom for one last check up." you look great dont worry about it." I heard monika say as she walked in the room."Plus your lover just pulled into the driveway." My eyes widen.Then the doorbell rang.I mouthed 'oh god.' "just take a deep breath, you'll have fun just relax." i took a deep breath and then I walked out to the living roomstanding there waiting for me.He looked over and saw me. He took my hand in his and said," You look gorgeous." I smiled. " you look hansome yourself." I went to say bye to everyone and when I came back Justin handed me another rose. I smelled it and he offered me his arm as we walked to the door and left. We walked out to the car, he opened my door and closed it.'I'm so nervous, but why? It's not like I havent gone out with justin before.' I thought to myself. " Are you ok?" "huh? oh yea I'm fine." " Good." he said as he took my hand and kissed it.He started up the car and the dirve was long." I have a big surprise for you later." He said as he broke the silence. " Justin this is really sweet of you but you didnt have to do all of this for me." He looked at me," I know, but I want to." We both smiled.We arrived at a beautiful resturant. we walked in and the hostess sat us down at a speical table that Justin had resevered.It had the best veiw of the ocean.The resturant was lighted by soft candlelight and in the backround you could hear soft music playing.He ordered dinner for the both of us. " I've been thinking and I wanted to know do you still sing like we used to?" " Yea i do when I have free time.Monika,pam,aj and I gave it some serious thought to singing after the performance the other night." " I talked to them and they told me about it.I was thinking if you guy wanted to give it a shot, the guys and I have studio time coming up soon so we could plan something out and maybe record a demo or something." My whole face lit up."Justin I can't believe you would do this.I'm speechless." he gazed into my eyes," It's ok you don't have to say anything, the look in your eyes says it all." We both leaned across the table and kissed eachother.Our dinner came and as we ate I told him how monika,Pam and I did talent shows at our school and how we always practiced at my house over the years." I can't believe all the good things that are happening to me.Ever since you came back into my life it's been nothing but happiness.I feel like I'm in a fairy tale." We order desert. " I'm glad that I can make my baby so happy." He kissed my hands.We locked eyes adn he spoke very soft and gentle, "mary, I've known you for the longest time and I have always kept you in my heart and I know that i could always trust you." He took his hand from mine and pulled out a black velvet box.I covered my mouth with my hands."Mary, I love you with all my heart and someday i want us to marry you so that we can be together forever, but for the moment being accept this engagment ring as a promise ring.A promise that we both will make to eachother." Tears were flowing from my eyes as I handed him my left hand and he slipped it on my forefinger.I squeezed his hand," you will never know how happy I am at this moment, You have made me so happy!!" he squeezed my hand and said," I think I can imagine because i feel so happy by you accepting my proposal." I smiled as I wiped away my tears.We kissed passionately." you have no idea how long I've been dreaming of this day." he smiled and gave me a small kiss.After eating dessert , we went back to his house .We walked straight thru the house and went to the deck where we made our way to the beach.we took our shoes off on the deck and walked along the shore line hand in hand.After a 20 minute walk we sat down in the sand and looked at the stars up above.He sat behind me, I leaned me back into his chestand he wrapped his arms around me.I rested my head on his shoulder. AS we looked up at the sky we saw a shooting star." Are you going to make a wish?" Justin whispered itno my ear. I looked at him," I don't have to my wish already came true.I have everything I want right here next to me." he started kissing me and it got deeper and deeper.We both pulled away so that we could get a breath in.we both layed down and just stared at the sky between makeout sessions.I looked at Justin's wrist to see the time."2:15.?" Jutsin moved his arm and looked at it."yea we should get going."I nodded my head and we started to get up when he sweapt me off my feet." Why wak when you have your prince charming to sweap you off your feet?" I smiled. We were on our way to what i thought to his house. " umm. J? Where are we going?" "well I'm not driving home because I know everyone's there ready to pounce on us and i wanted to have you all to myself so I booked a hotel room,hence the bag with the spare clothes." he winked at me. I smiled and cuddled closer to him as he drove.Once at the hotel we went straight to our room.he carried me to the bed and layed me down.We both changed. I was the first to be under the covers.He came out from the bathroom with a grin.He jumped onto the bed. I laughed," you are just like a litle kid." "thanks!" he smiled.He pulled me closer to him and we began kissing.We were both tired and we cuddled and I started to drift off to sleep." I love you." he whispered and then kissed my forehead.I turned to face him. " Love you too." I whispered back and kissed him softly.I closed my eyes and fell asleep having wonderful dreams of our future.Justin stayed up a bit longer just looking at the angelic girl sleeping in his arms. |
