Chapter 20

Chris's shirt followed, as did his pants, worked free by Sara's hands.  Chris reached around and unclasped Sarah's bra, pulling it from her body, leaving her breasts unhidden from his gaze.  He unbuttoned and unzipped her jeans. Pushing her jeans along with them to the floor; they puddled over her bare feet.  And he gathered her in his arms an laid her on the bed, her shining red hair spread out upon the pillows, her body and all that she was waiting for him.  He pushed his boxers down, and kicked them off.  He joined her on the cool sheets, moving over her, pressing her back into the softness.
    Her mouth met his, lush, and warm; full of greeting.  He kissed her  eyelids, her cheeks, and the curved of her chin, her throat, her silken shoulder, her breasts.  Her soft cries were the music, and Chris drew them out by taking a nipple in his mouth. He suckled her, and she arched against him, burying her fingers in his hair. He felt so alive. That every breath, every movement of her body, felt like his.  He readied her with his hand, and when he slipped a finger inside her, she writhed and moaned begging him for his body.  He responded, fitting himself  to her entrance and entering slowly.  Just as if his own need were an other worldly thing, Chris managed to slide in and out over and over until her maidenhood gave way gently  before him.  She opened her eyes wide then, surprised at the breach, but she shed no tears.  He was the only one who felt the pressure behind his lids, because of  her precious gift to him.
    And then he could think of nothing but how he filled her.  Deep, Forever.  Chris let out a long breath and felt the heat of her all around him.  He wanted to stay buried inside her always, but she was making small, urgent sounds, and his blood was pounding in his ears, urging him to take action.  He withdrew and surged forward again, slowly, intent upon making their union last into eternity.  Her heart beat next to him, and he had the ridiculous notion that their blood flowed together, that he lived and breathed Sarah.  Then she wrapped her legs around him, clung to him, calling his name, and his control left him.  He grasped her hips and lifted her. Faster. Higher. Until she cried out her pleasure, and his body spasmed in a release that took him somewhere he had never been before.

Later that day, Sarah and Chris made lunch and ate it in the living room, watching TV.  Sam and Bri were still gone.  Sam arrived home at two.  Walking in, she noticed Chris and Sarah asleep on the couch.  Sarah laughed quietly, walking to her room, not a doubt about what they did in her mind.  She had just closed her door when her phone rang.

"Hello?" Sam said, picking up the cordless phone that rested by her bed.

"Hi, Sam, "Justin said. "How have you been?" Have you settled in okay?  Do you need any help finding places?"

Sam laughed "Let me answer those questions before  you ask anymore. I'm okay. Yes, I'm settled in.  No, I don't need any help finding places.  I went exploring yesterday after lunch , then today."

"Did you accept Armand's  offer?"

"Yep. I told him yesterday.  I'm going to the salon next week."

"Do you need help getting there?'

"No, I drove past it earlier today."

"That's good. How's everyone else?"

"Sarah and Bri are both fine, although Sarah will be positively glowing the next time you see her."

"So Chris finally popped the question? That's good."

They chatted for a few minutes, about superficial things.  Justin sounded preoccupied, as though he had something on his mind.

"Justin,"  Sam said suddenly, breaking off her comment about the weather,  "Why did you call?  What's bugging you?"

"I needed to talk. I wanted to make sure you're okay. Something's been worrying me for the past few days."

"What?"

"I'm not sure. I've just had these feelings, as though something's going to happen."

"And do you get feelings like these often?"

"Only when something's going to happen, which is why I don't like this.  I don't want to worry you. It could be nothing, or my imagination, or it could have a different source.  But I just wanted to make sure you are okay."

"Yes, Justin, I'm fine.  Just to make you happy, I'll be sure to take care."

Justin sighed. "Thanks, I'll talk to you later."

Bye."

    Bri cam home a little while after Sam.  Chris and Sarah were still sleeping.
"Should we wake them up?" Sam asked from the kitchen.
"Don't they look so cute? I'm going to get a picture, then we'll wake them up."  Bri got her camera and walked back to the living room.  Sarah woke up when the flash went off.

"Bri, I'm going to kill you," she said, sitting up. "I was taking a nap."

"I couldn't resist," Bri replied.  "You two looked so cute."
Chris sat up. "You could have turned off the flash."

"Then the picture wouldn't have turned out good."  Bri walked to her room and locked the camera in her dresser, putting the key to the drawer in her pocket.

"I take it Sarah said Yes." she commented, coming into the living room.

"No, Bri, she said no, but they were sleeping together just for the hell of it," Sam called from the kitchen. She was looking for something to eat.

"Shut up sam," Bri yelled back. "I wasn't talking to you."

"Yes, I said yes," Sarah told her, she held up her hand. "See Chris and I are engaged."
Bri hugged her.  "When are we going to celebrate it?  Have you set a date? Do you have any thing planned yet?"

"I'm not sure when we're going to tell everyone else, but I'm sure we'll throw a party.  No, we haven't set a date.  And the only thing planned are the colors; Purple and silver."
Sam walked in the living room. "Congratulations," she told Chris and Sarah, hugging them.  "I'm going out. I'll be back later."

"Where are you going?"  Sarah asked.

"I'm not sure. I'm bored and restless and need to get out of the house."

"See you later." Sarah said.

"Bye," Bri called.

~~~~~~~~
    Sam took a deep breath, ran her hands over the front of the dress and walked out of the fitting room.  This was the first time anyone besides George, and the other three models that worked for him; Ashley, Cassandra, and Tara would see her in one of his creations.
Sarah, Bri, and Justin had been invited in by George.  He wanted them to see Sam.
Justin whistled when she walked out, in a silver dress. "It looks good" he told her.
Sam smiled. "Thanks."
George looked at her.  "It looks wonderful, but something's not right." his eyes landed on her hand.  "That's it. Please take off the ring. It takes emphasis away from the dress."
"No," JC said, from the door, walking inside following Lesley. "I made her promise she wouldn neveer take it off."
"And why would you have a say in it?"  George inquired.
"I gave it to her and made her promise me she would never take it off."
"What?!" Lesley screamed.  "You gave that bitch a damn ring that huge?"
"It's a friendship ring,"  JC exclaimed. "Why wouldn't I?"
"It's an engagement ring, JC the type of ring that a guy gives the woman he loves," Lesley exclaimed. "And you made her promise not to take it off?"
JC, stared at Lesley. She'd never acted like this before.
"You didn't make me promise to never take off my engagement ring. Do you care more about that fucking bitch than me?"
~~~~~

Sarah, Bri, and Justin gasped.  Sam was staring at a wall.  George was staring at Lesley.  Suddenly, he laughed.  "I remember you," he said.

"You were that woman who got pissed off when I didn't ask  you if you would like to be an Armand model.   You remind me so much of a spoiled, child." He shook his head. "No wonder a woman like Sam makes you so insecure."

Lesley went red with anger. "Why, you fucked up asshole. I'm not surprised you have a person like Sam working for you. She's probably the only type who would work for you. Her and other sluts." Lesley flounced out of the salon.  George laughed. He looked at JC. "She's your fiancé'?"

"Yes."

"I'm shocked. Why a man like you would ever date a woman like her is beyond me." He shook his head. "Samantha, ma cherie, I won't make you remove the ring. All I request is that you get a matching necklace, to balance the ring out."

Sam thought for a minute. "I'll try to find one like it. But it might be a little while before I get it.  I want to save the money I made off my books."

JC was staring at the door. Then he looked at Sam. She looked absolutely beautiful in the silver dress, her hair falling to hips in a mass of waves. "I'll get one for you."  He walked out of the salon before Sam could object.

~~~~~~
JC found a matching necklace two hours later. Lesley had called him and told him she had to fly to Miami, so she wouldn't be able to attend the small party the guys were holding that night to celebrate the release of theire third album.  He decided to give the necklace to Sam then.
