BEST kickoff! Today, Nancy, Mackenzie, Cherise, Chungy, Priscilla, Loh, and Abbo went to the BEST kickoff to learn all about the newest competition. We've gone from BEST to the PITS. Well, the "Pandemonium in the Smithsonian", that is. You can find out all about the competition at bestinc.org or from Nancy and the gang at school on Monday.

The biggest shock is that this year, our notebook is DUE ON DEMO DAY (formerly called "Mall Day"), which means that if we want our info to be accurate, we have to be done with the robot in 5 WEEKS. Pack a bag, because you're never seeing your house again. Thankfully, Nancy has volunteered the use of her house for those lovely, late 1 AM evenings when you need a place to sleep. But that's beside the point. We will DEFINITELY be meeting Monday after school around 4:30 or 5.

New Fun Stuff: We urge all members to make a personal journal so that we can take some excerpts out for our BEST notebook. It makes us sound all smart and organized. Who knew?

Okay guys, all of the us are really, REALLY excited about this year's contest!! Its going to be especially fun with all the awesome stuff that we learned from last year. WOOHOO! GO JETS! Okay, I better subdue my enthusiasm and spirit for Competition day. Only 5 weeks, guys!
